  1. http://yamaha.motogrid.com/pages/parts/default.aspx That is the site i found that price at. Can you find brand new ones on Ebay?? all i have ever seen are used, and i figure if im gonna spend the money on a good motor, i may as well buy new shit. At least that way i know what i got. Well, that wasnt the same site, i had a hell of a time findin the one where i could get if for under 400, but forgot to bookmark it.
  2. I want to buy a new set of cases for my banshee. Anyone know where to get the best deal on em?? The cheapest i have found is just under $400. If anyones got any place better that would be great... Thanks
  3. You still got the case?? top and bottom half? If so, how much?
  4. How bout that Tri-Z in the backround???
  5. I might be interested in either set. If you still have them, let me know.
  6. Hmmmmm........ thanks for the info...
  7. While i was tinkerin on the ole banshee today, i was adjustin the tie-rods a little bit, and was standin behind the wheeler looking it the front wheels were pretty well even. Anyways what i noticed is that the rear right and front right tires (while standing behind it) seem to line up on the same track. but the left side, the front wheel sticks out about a half inch more than the rear. I didnt take the time to really check into it, like measuring the axle or anything, just wondering what you guys knew.
  8. Dont feel bad man...i cant sell mine either. Im afraid if i do sell it i will miss it when its gone anyways
  9. Well, im gonna try to sell it again its a 1999, my sig. pretty much tells it all, i put a new clutch in it about a month ago, other than that its pretty much the same. Motor was rebuilt in March-April. Hasnt had too much riding since then, if interested, make a post, send an e-mail, call...whatever you feel like doin. ([email protected]) (785- 483-0486) Make some reasonable offers. If you want pics, send me an email addy.
  10. Ya... that plastic piece was my first thought too.....but that wasnt it...oh well..hopefully when i put it back together it still wont sound screwed up
  11. I also found piles of orange plastic like shit in the bottom of the clutch cover i dont know where it could have possibly came from...i changed my oil before i went on the trip and i dont think anyone could have slipped anything in it without me knowing.... any idea what this might be?
  12. I broke my kickstart gear when i wasnt even starting it... I was hydroplaning, i think in 5th gear, and got spun around. I did a 360 across the water and another 180 just as i was hitting the sand on the other side. I heard a loud pop and figured the worst...i sheared gear...but it turns out it was only the kick start gear. Is this common? How could it have happened?? Anyone experience something like this before??
  13. Get there and check it out!!!! www.yamaha-motor.com
