  1. CPI's sound pretty good to me but I really like a set of drag pipes with open stingers. Make your ears bleed.
  2. 44? Have a good one.
  3. Cascade Innovations if I have problems getting them from the builders.
  4. Sure was, try again. Those things need a warning buzzer or something when they get full.
  5. Should have spacer rings on either side of the hub. If they are widened they will of course be on the inside. They are easily noticeable. I think durablue uses a different system though.
  6. I foujnd 2 places that have the 4mil in stock right now. I'll post who after I order it. BB why you say the 65mm?
  7. I think I'll stick with the 4mil. Now whether to go 65 or 68mm bore? Man all these decision. Gotta love it.
  8. Why the bigbore's? I thought the small bores were better up to like a 460.
  9. Cub? if so that's why. You know they're faster than their big brother.
  10. Yea you will be fine with premium unleaded with 20cc domes. If you ever ride at lower altitudes just do a 50/50 mix with race gas.
  11. Yea the 7mil and 10mil cranks are exact same price, right at a grand. I also didn't know cases needed trenched until you hit 10mil? Only disadvantage I can find for the 7mil is the price.
  12. Yea there are several porters out there porting these plated cylinders and have ported plated cylinders for years with no problem. I'm hearing their is some horsepower to gain with porting but minimal, something like 6 to 7 ponies, of course nothing like the gain from stock cylinders. I need to contact Dan at patriot and see how soon he can get some to me. I always hate sending stuff out somewhere after it has been polished, that should be the last step. Fireman, you have a number for Nate? If so PM it to me. Thanks. I'm also debating a 7mil, but man those cranks are high, about a grand.
  13. Yea I can get a polished set of cubs sent out by monday as well as the 4mil stroker crank. So I could get it put together in just a few days after they get here no problem. I still need to talk to Dan Hull and Dan at patriot also about just a clean up port.
  14. Yea I think mine is fixing to be under major construction, but hate to risk the trip so I may wait till after.
  15. Missouri have 6 point beer? If so I heard that too.
  16. That's they key right there. It would be better for me to wait and ride yours to make a good decision, if I can, dunno if I can though. If I can make up my mind soon I'll have them by then. Who know but thanks for the insight.
  17. I've got a 520 DID x-ring. I went to a longer swinger so I no longer need it. It has about 2 hours run time on it, so actually it's still looks brand new. Still clean, never lubed and no rust. You will just have to remoce a few link and you'll be set. I also have a new master link. Make me an offer.
  18. Well I've been doing my research and hit some snags. If all these builders could just come to one conclusion would make things so much easier. Anyway I'm getting the (pretty sure) 4mil with 68mm bore cub. Just can't figure out whether to port it or not. One builder I talked to was adiment and said absolutely do not touch them unless your specifically drag racing and plan on dumping the clutch at 9k . Another builder laughed at the idea and said I need to look at how rough they are and they said the transfers and exhaust are the same size on all the cubs. This particular builder also said the exhaust port is fine on the 65mm but needs opening up on the 68mm (makes sense to me). 3rd builder I talked to said he compared the cub and stock cylinders both on 4mils. Stock cylinders were his porting and the cubs weren't touched. He said on his dyno the cub made 65hp and the stock cylinders with his porting made 62hp. He said if I wasn't going to port the cubs that their is little to gain above the stock ported cylinder. Of course hp means squat, I'd like to experience the rideability between the two also. These builders were all big names and one says he's the largest distributor and builder of cheetah cubs on the west coast (wasn't trinity). Anyway didn't want to mention any names cause everyone bias towards different builders. Just currently getting a feel, thought there would be a consensus but guess not. I just thought I would see what you guys have experienced or heard about porting the cubs.
  19. I have no clue honestly but if there is anyone that would know it would be the folks at www.pro-flo.com. They are based out of Florida.
  20. Not a problem. I use the Prestone that is already mixed and ready to use.
  21. Stock replacment is the cheapest, of course. Aftermarkets will (most) have better quality. Find a price that suits you and buy an aftermarket set. A lot of people like the quicksand. I use the Janssens and would buy them again tomorrow, no question about it. They offer a lifetime warranty which is a plus.
  22. At 200 psi on pump gas you were detonating, had to be no question. That alone will kill your plug and usually your piston. Recheck your compression, run 110 and make sure you have the correct size and heat range plug for that motor. I don't know what is requires but you may check with others that own them.
