  1. Well went to Ultimate Electronics. Walkd up to the Mitsu 62" DLP daimond series. Dude came up, so I asked him if there was anything in the store with a better picture. He said nope! Said the SXRD were close but still lacked detail compared to the mitsu. Well anyway the delivery boys should be here in a few. Thanks for the info, can't wait to get it hooked up. Oh yea Stephen, those LCD's are pretty sweet. Got the LG 32" a few weaks ago. I just wanted to be able to use it for tv, then switch to the rgb input and browse the net or do a pip style, chat here and watch discovery at the same time.
  2. Wow, that's absolutely awesome!!!
  3. Well my current TV took a small dump (power switch). May take a few weaks to fix, so I'm going to buy another and fix my old one then sell it. I've been out of touch with all this new fangled tv technology. Was just wondering what everyone thought was the way to go? Looking at something in the 60 to 65" range. I've had my eye on the new Mitsu Diamond DLP 62" with 1080p. Damn that thing is expensive but so far the best picture I've seen with the pioneer elite plasma a close second. I checked out some of the Sony SXRD tv's and the JVC and they look pretty good as well. I'd like to see them all side by side but just not possible. Any companies I need to look at before I make my final decision?
  4. Those people are flippin morons, period!!! It's that kind of ignorance that has given our country the kind of problems it has. Those forums don't really attract the community pillars, trust me. Their views of this country is exactly the way this country views them. On a side note PK, don't let your emotions take control of the keyboard. Your an example of this country, so try and make it a good one. And I support our troops, right or wrong, they have my support, period!!!
  5. Back her up to a stump, go to work.
  6. Thank you!! You make my job easier. Registered Nurse, worked at University of Oklahoma Med Center for several years in a Cardiac Intensive Care Unit specializing in open heart recovery. Currently work at Grady Memorial in the ICU/CCU. Also own a dog grooming. boarding and supply business.
  7. I could never tie an effin knot, so I would of just flunked out.
  8. We need to add that to the arcade. 10.3 is the best I could muster though.
  9. Happy Birthday Brooke!!! Take it easy on them candles.
  10. Looks like rocket pipes. Seems like whoever typed that info out has typed on here a few times. I ran out of breath trying to read it. lol
  11. Yea my wife actually mentioned that today (good idea). I'm sure he wouldn't have a problem with that.
  12. Actually every individual (screen name) with replies and responses is computer generated. No 2 members actually see the same list of members or information. The database is individualized and changed according to your threads and responses, as to make it more appealing to you and your tastes as an individual. This forum is vital to the success of the ATV industry. Just be careful when planning riding trips with other computer generated members, you will be the only one there.
  13. I'm afraid I would have to go to prison if I found the people. They would have to kill me to save themselves. Sorry about your luck. If you could maybe post some pics of the modified quads that were taken and maybe it will make them easier to identify.
  14. That is a good point!!! Actually this guy is a close friend and a co-worker. He actually said he wouldn't take posession of the shee until all my orders have been made and payment made in full. Thanks for the comments DD, same reason I wanted your bike, one of my favs.
  15. That ain't no shit!!! Good thing you guys brought those cause Wes was ready to haul my ass behind his shee and I guarantee you I wouldn't have wanted to be behind that thing trying to tow me. I'd still be picking sand out of my skin.
  16. The only con I can think of is more rotational mass that your engine has to overcome. If your clutches slip, then obviously it is a benefit. If your clutches aren't slipping without it, then it's a disadvantage. There's a price for peace of mind knowing your clutches won't slip, cause if they do, it may cost you a race. If your running high HP and you can't take the risk of a slipping clutch, then it would be a must.
  17. Well I worked on some details with this guy last night. He said he would give me 5500 cash up front and he would buy me 4500 in parts on his CC toward the drag shee if I wanted. I'm like that sounds cool. I have one more obstacle, the wife!! I have to catch her on a better day. She's ok with me selling it but she's not too crazy about me doing another one. Women just don't understand. Dale has a good point as well. I'd really like to keep it no doubt, just to dune around on it. Of course if I sell it I could build my next one A LOT quicker. It's not that I'm necessarily strapped for cash, but coming up with 15k or whatever it will take for my next build will take some time. So I guess it really boils down to a time issue. You know we all hate to wait for something we want, just part of life I guess. So who knows what I'm going to do, I'm really struggling with this and I know I will kick myself for selling my shee, but maybe my second shee will keep my mind of the 1st one. lol
  18. Mine has the 421 cub in it. Looking to build prolly a 10 mil cheetah or cub with drag chassis/suspension.
  19. Man what a debate. I've been banging my head over this for a while. Got an offer for the shee. Guy asked me what I wanted and I told him when he's ready to spend around 10k we'll work out the details. Well he's ready. It would be hard to replace it for that but I've been shooting around the idea of building a drag quad and this would be the time to do it. What do you guys think?
  20. This is Kevin, a friend of RNBRAD. I have been looking to buy a nice banshee. Can you please send me pics and any further specifications to [email protected] I also own a transportation company if I can help anyone move whatever. I am looking for a fast banshee to enjoy the dunes on here in OK and then in PA when we move near Lancaster next year. Love the site. Keep up the good work. www.dacustransport.com 405-326-7512
  21. Yea you will need a flywheel puller. Can get them at your local Yamaha shop or order one from RMATV for around 15 dollars. Don't try and remove it any other way.
  22. I guess someone heard of detergent additives in oil and thought they would take it to a new level. I wonder if you added Dawn to the tranny if your tranny oil would jump out of the filler hole?
  23. I've always said you can't have the best low end and top end performance that a single engine is capable of producing. You really have to pick one or the other or maybe a state of tune in between (depending on application). It's kind of like these high powered crotch rocket engines with the intake and exhaust valves. They tune these things down so they will develop good low end torque. It restricts the intake and restricts the exhaust at lower rpm's. So there is a benefit to this madness. It would be nice to have a cub motor you could choke off like this at lower rpm's and let breath at high rpms, then everyone would be happy.
  24. Jeff, you fell off pinned in 4th gear and still alive to talk about it ? Good thing I had a superbowl party planned that day and couldn't make it. I wouldn't of wanted to see any of that. Glad everyone is ok though.
