rode my shee for the 1st time sunday
RIPPEN replied to Mullet Man's topic in General Banshee Discussion
Sounds about like me ... I can still remember the first time I rode one and as soon as I ripped into it, I knew I had to have one . RIPPEN -
LOL sounds like it... I have a few buddies and their wives get into it too finding more and more chicks that dig it. Nice cuz you don't have to worrie about them bitchin Can't wait for this weekend. The last few fights have been cool, just have few people over and throw down some beers and pizza. Really PPV is cheep if you just all pitch in a little. Any you guys seen or dig Rich Frainklin. His fights in March, and I deff. favor him to win. Guy is on top of his game. RIPPEN

Not to big into it or never really watched it??? I just know a few people who said they didn't like it but after they watched a couple GOOD fights they got into it. As for seeing it live, that would be the shit. I was gonna go for this fight but I have tons of other stuff to take care of. I think the tix were between like 100-700 bucks. Allot of money when you factor everything in. Iam deffinatly gonna try and make it to a fight this year though. RIPPEN

I think there comes a time if you keep building your bike more and more that the single isn't going to be able to keep up. I had a single on mine and I really loved it. It was very responsive, good low end power, looked clean, and was very easy to tune. But Iam getting a bunch of stuff done to my bike this winter so I sold it to a buddy of mine. He had the stockers on it but noticed with the single that it had more low end and didn't lag when first givin gas. It works great for his bike but he hasn't had any huge porting or anything done to require more breathing... RIPPEN

Thats what gonna be cool about that fight is Hughes is so F-in strong but Hoyce has so much more experience. I think its gonna be a really interesting fight but Iam not sure who Iam favoring yet. March 4 my favorite fighter is up and thats Rich Franklin. That dude is bad ass! He focused, well rounded, calm, smart and super fast. Just the other night I watched a re-run of him and Evan Tanner. Damn, by the end of the fight Tanner looked like a bucket of elbows and Franklin looked barely winded. As for this commin fight though I was suprised to see Liddell is only favored by a little at the UFC website... Figured it would be more like here where Liddell would be more strongly favored. RIPPEN

I agree... Dude you had the chance to check it out and half the stuff you listed should have been easy to notice if you would have looked. Besides I rather have a (needs work) banshee rather than a DS anyway. Pay the few bucks to fix the shit and chalk this up as a lesson learned... RIPPEN

How many kicks to start your Shee ?
RIPPEN replied to milo_32000's topic in Banshee Repairs and Mods
My bike has actually started great in almost every condition other than the first start up of the season(4-5) or when the plugs get fouled. Otherwise mine usually starts first kick. Sounds to me like you need to do a little tuneing... Try searchin cuz I have seen some post recently about this subject RIPPEN -
Feb 4th Randy Couture and Chuck Liddell are going at it again on PPV. Curious how many of you will watch it and what your predictions are. Iam thinkin Chuck wins with a KO again but probably in second or third round. Iam sure Randy is gonna come in a little more carefull this time. I would actually like to see Randy win but I think Chucks bombs are awfull heavy. For those of you who havn't seen the UFC I would keep a eye out for it on spike. There are a lot of good fighters right now with some really good fights RIPPEN

Yeah, same kinda thing goes for me... However I have heard that there is some crazy shit that goes down in Glamis. People gettin jumped, bikes stolen, stuff like that. Not sure how true all that is but Iam not gonna ride some place that Iam gonna get screwed with. Kinda defeats the purpose... RIPPEN

I wonder if you get a free mullet with the purchase... RIPPEN

The gripper seats are awsome!!! Local bike shop sent mine out and had it recoverd with the gripper material for about 60 bucks. It looks clean and it is so nice to not slide everytime I hammer it RIPPEN

Wow... I have never heard of them either... Be interesting to find out more. RIPPEN

Take care and thank you for your hard work and service... RIPPEN

It wouldn't have been as bad if he would have at least sold the 450 first RIPPEN

I dont see a problem with makin a little money... When I was lookin for a bike I held out and payed a little more than it was probably worth. But overall it was a better deal than the others I had seen just because it was in good shape. So if your able to sell it for a few bucks more than you payed, then I would say good for you in taking care of the bike and being able to reward off that. RIPPEN

Shipped my stuff from Colorado and it was only like 60 bucks and that was thru UPS so I would deffinatly check Fed Ex. Jeff is a great guy to work with and really fair priced. I would check all your options with shipping before ruleing him out. RIPPEN
