  1. Thats cool Chase that you help him out like that, kinda reminds me of my wife's family. I mean they are all fucked up in the worst way................ ::
  2. When you paint plastics like that, don't you have to prep the plastics to accept the paint so that it doesn't fall off or crack because of flexing. I heard you also need special paint that stays flexible............
  3. Yeah, I agree the bike looks a little trashed. I think for that kind of money you get a bike that doesn't have as much abuse and then fix it up to your style of ridin'............
  4. Yeah, I thought about getting a tat, but I don't know what to get or where to put it............
  5. I hear about people hookin' them up all the time, but I have never heard the sound quality............
  6. Ya gotta love the die-hards. It's pretty fun watchin' the $2-300,000 motorhomes get stuck to the frames and then watch them tear them up dragging them out. Do insurance companies pay out on stupidity claims, I've always wondered. Don't get me wrong, I'm not tryin' to bash these people, but come on. You take a 25-35,000 pound slug onto the sand and expect it to move after you stop it................. :yelrotflmao:
  7. It's not that bad. How many of you belong to planet sand and the HQ. Nobody says anything about that....................
  8. I know thats why people are buying them and the hype the manufacturer gets only helps the publicity. I mean come on they only shipped something like 480,000 units to the whole US. They have to know they can't fill the demand. Anyone with half a brain can look at this as a business venture, the ones that say "Oh, I'm keepin' mine" is either a real geek or really stupid. They turn around and sell it for even a couple thousand then go out and buy another one at $600 bucks. The longer they sit on it the more money they make.............
  9. So, where in California are you. I asume if you are goin' to Laughlin you are in Southern Cali, and if you are going there you will drive within an hour or so of Glamis, or Dumont.........
  10. You just need to be careful, and cover your ass when you can. There are scams everywhere there is money changing hands..............
  11. I got my wife a 660 Raptor, and she loves it. If you want to slow her down a little I just turn the throttle screw on the thumb throttle down...................
  12. There is never anyone in there when I went in there, so I never go in there anymore. I get a quicker response from the threads.................. :yelrotflmao:
  13. Hey '06 Banshee, don't hold back man tell us how you really feel................. :yelrotflmao:
  14. Yeah, it could be electrical, but when did you clean your carbs out last. You by chance didn't bend or drop anything (ie float parts) when you rejetted did you. It may be starvin' for fuel and you shakin' the bike moves the float and gets fuel to motor...................
  15. Welcome to the HQ............. You can always turn around and sell the shee, probably a lot easier than the sled. With all the mods its worth a bit, but on an 89 frame, not sure would have to see pics. Whats your sled blue book for...............?
  16. Traider's...................
  17. Well it sounds like when the rows are cut out they act like dirt paddles............
  18. Yeah, you have a few variables there that need to be dealt with first. Then you can get a guess as to where the horses are, but even then its a guess. A dyno run would tell you for sure...........
  19. Yeah, UPS is fairly priced, but NYUK is right, I did hear a while back that Greyhound does ship at a fair price...............
  20. Well, it sounds pretty good, especially since the Raptor 50 goes for approx. $1900 and the Raptor 80 goes for $2300............
  21. Yeah, my girlfriend at the time got us in because she played violin in the orchestra that backed up the song in the video. They filmed us in the audience, but they shot it over and over and over and over 'til like three in the morning. It was kinda cool though, because when the film crews took breaks they played songs, signed autographs and kept the audience up with mini concerts until they started filming again.
  22. I agree with Loco, these people are tards............... :shoothead: Yeah I've been hearing that there was one goin' for $9000............... ::
  23. Yeah, the motor is much easier to work on when it is not in the frame...........
  24. I went to the filming of their November Rain video, and had a good time. That was back in '92-'93 when they were all together and they had good songs. Not sure how they sound anymore........
