  1. I wouldn't trust the octane boost, because it wont be consistant. I would just take like a two gallon container full of race fuel or AV 100LL and when you get to the gas station pour half of it in and fill the rest of the tank with 93. At the next station do the same thing, it wont be dead on but it will be close to 50/50 which should work out for ya. Unless you can figure out a more accurate way to measure the 50/50 part, but over on the higher octane wont hurt anything............
  2. I'll have to take some and post them, but I just used a 4" angle grinder and cleaned up the bracket on the handle bars.
  3. Ya, I've heard of them getting pinched when they get installed, but you would have to get the thing pretty damn hot to melt it..............
  4. Ya, I've heard of people using the spray foam and setting the motor in it before it hardens and it is a custom fit because it is the exact shape of the motor..............
  5. Ya, he took them off for a while, but now there back and all is good with the universe...........
  6. Ya, there weren't to many changes done to the Banshee in all the years that Yamaha made them. I guess if ain't broke don't fix it. But they could have done something with the suspension though................
  7. I'll see if I can get some up for you. You may also go look through the images section, because sometimes showing other things you can see parts of the wiring.............
  8. Ya, Jeffco seems to be the most popular, but damn they are so expensive. I guess it is supply and demand because there are not that many companies making them. I was just hoping that there may be some companies out there that I haven't found yet. Thanks for the info so far though............
  9. Ya, pipes are more expensive but they are more bang for the buck...............

  12. I built a wood box and used my front motor mounts and made two brackets for the back and shipped it to FAST by mounting to the inside of the box. One twenty foot piece of 2x2 and a sheet of CDX roofing material. Jeff said it was the best homemade box that he has seen that was actually mounted to the inside..............
  13. I am trying to find a company that manufactures tranny's for the smaller sand cars. I am not talking about the full blown sand rails, I'm talking about the small sand cars that seat one or two people. The motor's are from motorcylces and are usually 1300cc and the like. I am looking for a gearbox that has forward and reverse. The company that I found so far is Jeffco Reverse Boxes and they are a type of reduction transmission and very expensive. If you know of any other companies out there that make these types of tranny's I would appreciate the info.................
  14. Ya might check your battery terminals...............Naaaaaa j/k You might check your wiring harness, but also the wire coming from the kill switch and the key switch. They might have rubbed on something and are now going to ground and wont let it start..............
  15. Ya, if you lift the bike up you can see the hole in the bottom and it is for drainage as stated above...........
  16. I run the FAST clutch, because I heard great things about the product. I also run a lock-up but that was for extra piece of mind..............
  17. With the better spark and heavier duty wires, you should notice a pretty good difference from stock.............
  18. Whether it is or it isn't that is one damn nice lookin' bike.................
  19. Which would explain the blowjobs................ :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  20. Ya, I heard it was pretty disgusting, but never saw it though. Thats probably a good thing.................
  21. Ya, I've also used starter fruid to track down air leaks in the intake boots, you'll definately notice a change in the idle when you hit the leak.............
  22. You can put a compression tester on it and it should be around 125-135 depending on the mods
  23. When I removed mine I also took a four inch grinder to the parking brake part that sticks out on the clutch lever.............
  24. Agreed, I've taken my tank off many times and I have never had any issues (loosen the bolts and gas line tube).............
  25. You may also post in the wanted section of the HQ........................
