  1. I got a 250R ATC, but it died shortly after I took it to the sand. I then got bit by the go fast bug and had to have a shee after riding a friends. You never forget your first, but second is much, much better. LONG LIVE THE SHEE's...........
  2. Did he just say Honda?
  3. Yea, I noticed that some swingers use aftermarket round carriers, and others use the stock carrier. At the risk of sounding stupid which is better to use, and if you stick with the stock carrier housing can you get an aftermarket bearing assembly later? And is that as good as the round house carrier? I am lookin' into a +4 or a +6, which is 5-600 then you need the carrier at 175-250. Thanks
  4. dajogejr and passion99, I agree
  5. There are a lot of people who don't even run one at all. When I put mine back together I am losing mine too. The system is not like your car. This is a overflow bottle not a recovery bottle.
  6. Ya, what he said............
  7. If the 700R has a turbo, dude you better have a few mods or you're toast. Go back to the drawing board and open up that thing you sit on, no not that, your wallet.
  8. I have a warrior that my daughter rides, but I have never had the starter out of it. That does not sound right to me though, because it is an electrical motor with windings that don't need oil messin' up the works. Try two things, call another stealership in a different town or another shop that also works on Yamaha and ask them if there is supposed to be oil in there. Otherwise get a clymers and it would tell you in the book, especially in the disassembly and assembly sections..........
  9. I don't mean to be a smartass, but I think you mean transmission oil, there is no crankcase oil in a two stroke (mixed gas that sort of thing ). With that in mind I don't think that you can get oil into that part of the case through the cylinders. Now your friends water pump is in the clutch cover, which is where the tranny oil is so that would need to be changed. Did you check for spark in the non-firing cylinder? Is your TORS still alive? May also check your CDI box?
  10. Take the plug out of the head, put the plug back into the plug boot and touch the grounding strip on the case, head, cylender's or even the pipes. You then kick over the kicker with either your foot or your hand and you should see a spark go across the gap. The stator would need a multi-tester and a spec sheet to see what reading it is supposed to have...........
  11. Is there holes to bolt skid plates on............?
  12. Ya, 10% sounds about right. Plus it's easier to kick over if you pull the plugs, reducing the back pressure on your foot ..........
  13. Ya, send a bunch of bricks and they get a 1000.00 postage bill
  14. There was someone on here that I read about that bought a 99 or so for about 1500. I think it was mostly stock though, so with all your mods I'd say that 1800-2100 would work if you can find someone interested. No offense dude, but that things uuuuuuuuuuuuuugly. Why are you sellin' it?
  15. The things we argue about.............
  16. Come on Brooke tell us how you really feel . Can't please all the people all the time..............
  17. 150-200 shipped seems fair, especially for black pipes that need to be repainted..........
  18. Verrrrry interesting, I learn something new everyday.............
  19. niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiccccce
  20. Just Do-it, you wont be sorry. Dollar for dollar though when you do decide to mod your new shee, a two stroke will have more power than a 4 poke and it will cost you less to get that power. Two strokes react very well to mods, but to increase a banshee say 20 hp will cost less than to get the same 20 out of a 4 poke. As far as ridability goes Banshees, as their namesake scream, and they like to go fast. By no means think that you are invincible on one though, because there will always be someone faster than you that has more money to burn. Like they say you can only go as fast as your wallet will allow, but man there is nothin' like it. You need to try out a friends shee or find out if maybe a friend knows another friend that may have one. Or find one for sale and take it for a wide open pinned test ride and you'll be hooked. If you are interested and have never been on one you're already hooked, now just follow that feeling..............
  21. That is really harsh man. I had my stang stollen a while back, and it sucked when they recovered it or should I say what was left of it. It took me two years to put all back together, but when I did this I replaced everything with aftermarket parts and it was a wicked car. So maybe you may come out of this better than you think. It gives you a chance to get a new shee and start over. It would be nice to have a Low-jack system on our shee's then when they get stollen we can activate the system and track down the piece of $hit that stole our pride and joys.................
  22. Ya, I heard that on one of the talk shows, send a brick, and a lot of people have............
  23. Cool it's nice to upgrade, especially when the upgrade cost less than the old bike sold for........
  24. Ya, you had to agree to the terms before they just got your number off of a list somewhere. Otherwise you aren't liable for $hit, and if they try and collect tell them to take a flyin' Fu**. Tell them that you didn't ask them to send it to you and if they want it back they need to send you postage or come get it themselves. Obviously, they have your address .
  25. I didn't like that either, but if it isn't changed you can go into your control panel, click on display, then on settings and change your screen area to 1024 x 768. It makes everything smaller, but you don't have to move the screen back and forth..........
