  1. If you are talking about the clutch arm lever, once you remove the bolt that holds the retainer in place the arm pops right out and so does the seal. Many banshee's creep foward until the oil warms up.
  2. when suspect my clutch is going, I pull up to a tree ease out on the clutch to see if the engine will die or the tires start to break loose. If the clutch slips you will know it.
  3. castor 927
  4. I guess I have been lucky, i have always stopped at the do it your self carwash, or used my pressure washer, blew off some stickers but thats about it

    USED SEAT COVER

looking for a good used stock seat cover
  7. peak racing was modding the 90cc two stroke mini's that could hang with a stock 400ex .the 400ex is good for wheeling and has a pretty decent stock suspension but thats about it.It takes alot more than just a pipe to make it haul ass as far as the climbing shit i don't have a clue, here in Louisiana we don't have hills much bigger than ant mounds
  8. the first investment for the banshee should be a clymers manuel, it can be a life saver
  9. try this http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WD1V
  10. no problem, let us know how it shifts
  11. if you run both ,hitting large bumps can cause your banshee to shift with out you wanting it to, the shift pro says you can run both but i wouldn't,if you do decide to try both of them don't get pissed when you have to pull that bitch back apart to remove the modded shift star, be sure and check the egg shaped bolt that adjusts the shift rod, if it is wore down it will not allow you to get the adjustment you need on the shift shaft
  12. that little star was kickin yo ass for a while
  13. it is the screw in the middle of the star, pull the shift shaft back out some and try a impact screwdriver
  14. push the shift shaft back in and put it in gear then try it again,if the screw doesn't want to turn you can use a impact screwdriver to loosen it
  15. if just the cushions are bad ,you can drill and tap the basket to make it rebuildable i have done a few for friends with no problems yet, have to countersink the screw heads on the rear of the basket so they don't rub the kick starter idler gear, but like superchicken said with your mods you might want to get a billet basket ,
  16. yes there is an o-ring that goes up in the pipe. if you look up the pipe you will see where the o-ring sits
  17. unless it it the lighting in that picture, stock reeds are not greenish colored at all they are white
  18. i have run each at one time or another and i prefer the shift pro kit, it don't just make shifting easier, it makes shifting alot smoother.either one will be a big improvement over stock
  19. good ole tractor hyd.oil from walmart here, also make shifting a little easier,i was running silkolene but as often as i change my oil it was costing an arm and a leg
  20. I just used a clear coat i bought at tha autoparts store i don't think it is krylon, i had more than just a few drops spill on the tank ,at first i tried to wipe it off and noticed the paint wanting to lift so i let the gas dry, when i went to clean the tank it was streaked badly, i guess from the 927 mixed in the gas being a white tank it showed the oil/gas streaks easily.but it didn't take long at all to redo it/ oh by the way my 10yr.old son thought he would do me a favor and fill it up before we loaded the bikes up, i walk up and he is spilling more on the ground than he is putting it the tank,it was kinda upsetting to say the least
  21. no primer needed,it sticks to the plastic very well, i redid my tank cover this time i put a couple of coats of clear over the krylon paint, just be carefull when fueling up . the instructions say no sanding needed ,but i suggest sanding the plastic up to help it stick, wipe it down very good with thinner or something to remove any contaminates on the plastic, this paint seems to fish eye easily
  22. you are correct the rims will not fit, but the blaster hubs will so i'll transfer hubs and all, the tires are 18'' holeshots so the are quite abit shorter than my kenda klaws,i will run the smaller tires first to see how i like the shorter gearing, i have a feeling i will have to shift quite a bit more than i do now,
  23. kinda strange the krylon fusion[white] i used to paint my tank cover shined excellent ,then i took the same can and painted the hood on my sons blaster and it came out dull ??? also gas will eat krylon fusion right off the plastic be careful when gassing up
  24. now i have stock gearing and 20" tall tires ,i thought about trying my sons blaster rims with 18" tall tires to see how i like the gearing change.instead of puting a 13 tooth sprocket, does anyone know which will be lower geared 18" tires or 13 tooth sprocket,i am just tring to get an idea of the lower gearing thanks Mark
  25. thanks alot dude, i will p.m. you my address
