  3. I run a moose clutch basket and haven't had any trouble.Yes you will use the gear off of your stock basket.I think any billet basket you buy will be better than a stocker.
  4. And the bad part the frickin chain was free!!!!!!!!!

    used gold chain

I have a 93 link gold DID non o-ring.Is that long enough for your need?
  6. I think you might not ever regain all the low end you lost due to the port job.Are you sure your jetting is on?
  7. I just checked the fuel tank looks like i have at least 1/2 tank. I am leaning towards the colder weather making it a bit leaner plus the dude really pushing it hard for an extended lenght. The fucked up part of the whole thing is that no one said anything about it running bad,I had to start it and find out myself.
  8. Reeds look good,Old spark plug looks good except for the silver from the melted piston. No up and down slack in piston rod.I will check the carbs before i put it back together.I am running inline fuel filter.
  9. Maybe it was slightly lean due to colder temps.I really don't know.I am thinking maybe one of the guys riding my bike kept it pinned to long hauling ass down the beach. As I dissasembled it i could not find and type of gasket failure, the carb boots look good.I thought maybe crank seal but it is on the right side. Its really hard to say because I wasn't riding it when the failure occured
  10. Left piston
  11. Yesterday,Burnt a hole in the right piston,I have benn running basically the same set up for 2 years with no problems.I had rode roughly about 25 miles with no problems before the failure.I let a couple of friends race the banshees down the beach a few times later when i went to start the bike it would only run on one cylinder. So i pulled the motor down today and this is what i found. Any ideas?
  12. Upp racing has cushions for the clutch basket. http://www.uppracing.com/item.php?pid=266&cid=71
  13. I would say your compression guage is probably all fucked up because you are not going to get 190 compression with 20cc domes.Sorry but I had to throw the bullshit flag on that one
  14. Yall just wait and see what Excesspaint has instore for the Clash, its gunna be fuckin crazy..........
  15. Austin was looking for the velvet seat covers. Why pay $ 65.00 -85.00 for someone to make a velvet cover that will wear out fairly quickly.Fabric can be stretched to have no wrinkles and also use no stitching.
  16. Lets see a pic.If I was to go with leather or vinyl I would definately get someone to make it, but with velvet it doesn't last long, if you do anything more than dragging you would be getting a new seat cover every month or so.
  17. When I was shopping for some new filters I posted on planetsand about the K&N knockoffs. Check out what they had to say http://www.planetsand.com/forums/ubbthread.../page/0/fpart/1
  18. I read about guys running these on planetsand. You can't beat the prices http://www.tsracing.com/store/showprod.cfm...ectGroup_ID=120
  19. Your right its fucked..........
  20. If you use the impact be careful, I have seen someone bump it once to much and strip the nut.I use a fiber and a steel plate screwed together and place a penny between the gears to keep the basket from turning as i torque it.Once it is torqued I turn the basket slightly the other direction to remove the penny.Copper is soft so it won't hurt the gears. Mark
  21. I'll go $75.00 and a box of orange fuckin tic tacs...............................
  22. Vito's has the off set rims
  23. One more
  24. I don't have any pics of a normal shift star, but here is a couple of pics of the modded star that was in my banshee. When I installed the shift pro kit,I went back with a new star.Looks like someone either used a belt sander or a grinder and just rounded off the edges.
