Correct me if I'm wrong but I think Yamaha made that bottle so you don't spray coolant all over the enviroment, and the full line actually means empty it. I'm ditching mine this rebuild.

That just causes the fuel to goto one carb instead of the other. I ran the T real high, its almost like a pingle, but its going to take some adjusting i need to get some zip ties I think.

I bought burgard a-arms about 2 weeks ago. I didn't realize you had to ream the spindles til after I bought them. ANYWAY- I took them to my local machine shop and he said he didn't have the angle'd ream bit!? I don't know what to do. I was told to call someone that deals with suspension, but its starting to look bleak. Anyone reamed their own spindles before?

I'm just worried about my fuel line touching my pipes... thats got disaster written all over it...

How do you guys run your fuel lines with big carbs + inframe drag pipes? I'm running out of room! Pictures would help....ALOT. Snap some pics of your tank-to-carb fuel line route, please!!!

This is true. But I've also heard the longer you let it sit mixed the lower the octane rating.

Usually mid range power problems are because of needle position. Might want to play with it a little bit.

Update pic from tonight: Pipes, Front Brake Lines, Clutch Case, VForce3's, Carbs, all installed. Waiting on Impeller bearing + seal, new filters to clear the pipes, and fluids, then it gets started up. Pay no attn to all the shit laying around the garage.

My vforce's came with a plastic insert, with a hole in it for the intake. Can this piece be removed and if so any difference? I'm trying to get as much air as possible...

Old post but has anyone tried the Mothers Aluminum Billet Polish? The one like this: Just wondering if its worth the extra 4$ a can over the mothers aluminum mag polish. Thanks in advance.

Sometimes you can find them on ebay for like an extra 20$. I think they're 224$ shipped.

Update: Not much has changed since last update, I got my side case polished, waiting on Vforces to show up, I got my shearers, but forgot to order billet pipe hangers. So they're not on yet. Thanks to Jim @ Passion for the super fast shipping of all my parts. My a-arms arrived so I threw them on real quick.

I'll let you know in a few weeks. Supposedly the bike stock puts down around 55hp. Thats why I asked. His bike is about 90lbs lighter. Our HP/LB ratio is almost the same. Racing bikes isn't my favorite, but the kid down the street just got one, and constantly bugs me about getting "roosted". So if my bike wont run it how it is, I'll drop another 500 on a nitrous kit... lol. I gotta beat this thing ;x

Well for one, it almost sounded like the throttle was pinned, but it was like a buzz sound. Not quite the normal banshee rev. I just needed to run higher octane fuel. Goto google and find out the elevation you ride at. Your compression may be too high for pump fuel. May just need some race gas.

I have a Wild West Welding swinger. I haven't got to beat the shit out of it yet, 'cause its at the chrome shop. But the welds were awesome, and it looked really sturdy. I got a +4 shipped to me for 230$. It was bare metal though. Chrome was 90$. His name on ebay is "isand2" send him a PM I'm sure he can hook ya up.

Make sure you get them to throw in a free set of goggles, that way I wont hurt your eyes with my awesome 2stroke roost.
