  1. lol, ok i was riding today, and all the sudden the clutch is gone. I take off the side case, and the posts that the screws go into, 3 posts broke off, 1 broke half way off. Any reason this could happen besides abuse, and weakness? Also, where can I get this part, possible aftermarket options? Thanks!
  2. sweet. yea there are a couple of ace's around here. Thanks for the headsup.. have you painted yet? if so, how does the paint act? I heard it was harder painting meier plastics...?
  3. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...&category=43981 What do you guys think? It not a name brand, but it looks pretty durable...
  4. I've looked everywhere for silver fusion, no place carries it. Any idea where I can get some?
  5. I'm running 185psi, and getting ready to advance timing anywhere from +5-7deg. I noticed someone on here said shee's love leaded gas. I currently run c-12, but there is a mobil around here that sells 110 leaded. Which would be better? I know the 110 is alot cheaper

  7. I've been reading about crank pressure, and how much it can handle. As I stated above, I believe my crank is pretty much at the end of its potential, and I'm looking for an upgrade.. since I'm going to bump timing soon. I found some hot rod connecting rods, for 80$ a piece; http://www.pro-flo.com/proflo_wiseco_hot_rods.htm If I replace stock rods with these, then have the crank welded, will it handle 17-18 cc domes with advanced timing? around 200psi of compression?
  8. Has anyone ever used testors model paint to paint their plastics? Just wondering if that would stick better than normal paint.? Here's my scheme: I'm going to paint my frame, or get it powder coated, either way I want a candle apple red/burgandy effect. I'm going with silver plastics, (I got blue meier plastic now, hopefully I can paint it ok).. I'm going to paint rims, carbs, cases to match frame, then chrome the side covers. maybe a polished swingarm will come after that... Any inputs appreciated, thanks!
  9. bump. I've been reading about crank pressure, and how much it can handle. Thanks..
  10. Anyone plannin on riding here this year? Or is it all about the badlands, I'm right in the middle of both of them, so let me know! Its still a bit chilly, hopefully it'll warm up soon.
  11. if you guys could give me some prices and locations you got these i would appreciate it. I didn't see it on bansheeracing.com.. also, I found 1 adjustable plate, @ albaracing, they want $99.00 for it. its +10, -10 http://alba.buyol.com/Item/PD510.htm if you got any other sites, please post, thanks.
  12. I currently run the mods below, 185psi, race gas. I'm looking into advancing the timing.. how much can I SAFELY go? How do I mod the stock plate? Any help is appreciated.
  13. I have a cool head with 18cc domes, and wiseco's. It seems like there is no clearance as it is between piston & head.. how would a 5mm stroker work? thanks. btw, stroker newbie, if ya can't tell....lols.
  14. bump that, weld the crank and get a head and some 18cc, its worth the 7.50$ a gallon..
  15. how long you think I got on the stocker now?
  16. Have you tested this design yet? I'm going to send you a pm with some ideas..
  17. I swear by vito's SS. They are insane, provide noticable gains, and are very rugged. I'd use these for a cheap port alternative for sand riding. I now use the prolites due to the lighter weight, changing the lightswitch powerband effect.. wiseco's evened out the power throughout the band. With vito's i'd loose traction no matter what tires I ran. (No sand around here, just hard dirt.)

  19. I'm running coolhead 18cc domes (180psi) compression on a stock crank with new seals & bearings. Obviously its not going to hold up, I'm planning on a weekend of a complete teardown, powder coating, and i want to replace the crank to something stronger, or i'm going to have to switch domes. I really like to drag, and the bike feels insane with the power its got now. I would rather switch crank than domes.. How would the hotrod's crank do? Or should I just have the stockie trued & welded? Thanks.
  20. Not to open another thread about this, so i'll ad here, what do you guys think mine will be? I run 113octane, with 180psi compression, 370cc bore, wiseco prolites, pods, boyseen reeds, most shit in sig...and stock gears.. thinking about going up a tooth in front, down one in back. what do ya guys think?
  21. before you go doin all that change plugs. I had a plug go bad, tore down the whole engine nothing was wrong. put it all back together, still backfiring bad, changed plugs and it was perfect. I was in flatriver, mo.

  23. Don't mix it 50:1...don't matter what the guys tell you on this site.! I'm running 32:1, my shee is still faster than shit, and its alot safer 290's seem ok for the mods you have, I would say 310 should be more than enough.. I've never had the choco ring on my plugs, so I dunno. I always read the tip of the plug. Compare to your manual, if your light brown, you should be ok.
