  1. Yup. As I went through, I came across a for sale ad that looked like this exact crank. A 10 mil too. That thread went to shit real quick.
  2. Yup. Did some searching on the interwebz, and came up with nuthin. Sorry for the false info
  3. Old Vito's used to use those. Then they went to there polished ones with Vito's etched into them
  4. Looks like. Vito's
  5. You usually can. Just call Jeff at fast and ask. There his work, he would know best.
  6. A: 1980 B: 1981 C: 1982 D: 1983 E: 1984 F: 1985 G: 1986 H: 1987 I: not used J – 1988 K: 1989 L: 1990 M: 1991 N: 1992 O: not used P: 1993 Q: not used R: 1994 S: 1995 T: 1996 U: not used V: 1997 W: 1998 X: 1999 Y: 2000 Z: not used From 2001 through 2009, numbers were used to designate a vehicle's model year.
  7. 10th number is the year. 1-9 is 01-09 A-Z (minus a few letters is everything else) I have the chart at home. But assuming your in the states, chances are slim you have anything over an 06 unless some one paid a shit load to ship it from another country. Or you have an oem replacement with no vin. So get the 10th letter or number and you can easily find out.
  8. The second look like some leagers coming to a point like that
  9. Timing usually does that, or when I shorted my harness on the pipe it did that
  10. The reason that there are so many "banshee" problems is because of its life span. It's the longest production quad. Everyone had a banshee. When it came out it was the most badass thing to hit the market. So you ditched the 3 wheelers and the 250s and got a banshee. So now since it's been around so long, you have 15 year old kids that have only owned a 400ex telling you banshees don't like water, they are hard to tune, there temperamental, they don't like the cold and so on. Like stated, start any motor, open the carb and just out of a mister bottle spray water into it. Sounds stupid right? So tell me one motor that does like water.
  11. I really wish ALL manufactures put the pattern on machines. Man that would be convenient
  12. Yeah old guy. I'm willing to put my "drag" pipes vs. any "trail" pipe. Porting has come a long way with these engines. CPI are becoming more trail friendly with the right porting and still able to reach the upper RPMs.
  13. I'm a fan of CPI. Sounds like we have similar set ups. I lug my cpi's through the trails on and off the pipe. I know Cameron at redline recommends CPI for a lot of builds. I had t5, LRD, pro circuit, fmf, CPI. And I'm sticking with them. They come on low. Not as low as pro circuits but about where the t5 did and pull up high pretty well. Past any of the pipes I previously had. This is my motor, that I told my builder and we agreed on cpi's would be the best setup. So my motor was built for these pipes. So I'd get with who did your port, maybe they'll know what's best.
  14. I have the tech 3 with the mounted hub. So I use just the axle nut. The dual locks are nice too. Once those rings come off, the tire just falls right of the rim.
  15. id tell them, if it passes price goes up 100 bucks for working on the bike. If it fails it's not for sale.
  16. If the guy is willing to have you come back and hang out and ride, I'm sure he has nothing to hide and would be a straight up guy. Let's see some pics
  17. One looks like the pilot, the other looks like the air jet (I think that's what it's called, don't hold me to it) that is in the bell(wide opening) of the carb. The washer goes on top the main. Not sure about the o ring on stock carbs, it's been a while since I've been through them. But it looks like the I ring for the big drain on kehien carbs
  18. Yup. There diagonal. Some people run 4. You don't need to. Just left front(shifter side) right rear
  19. In the first pic the carb is at an angle, that dosent have any affect? Or did you play with float height? B
  20. Go to the sponsor young guns racing. The have the poor man CPI for cheap.
