  1. my elevation is about 4500 so it should be higher with the head im thinking its probley just the rings just cause its fairly new its a 2 year old motor thanks for the help though
  2. hey i did a comp. test last week and it read 120 when i should be at 155 160. what do i need to get it up just rings or do i need to do the whole thing pistons ect. thanks
  3. it starts in 1-2 kicks very easy and yes i had the throttle open it was cold though i dont know if that makes a diffrence or not ok so what do i need to rebuild i need to know everything ill rebuild this year so i prevent any upcoming trobles and so i can rip on the dunes this year
  4. hey all i have i did a compression test and its reading 125 wich is low since i have a noss head with 19 cc domes. but since its low could i run an advanced timing plate +4 i plan on a rebuild next winter, so when i do that ill lower it but for now can i do it on pump gas thanks for any help

  9. i just installed my noss head 2 weeks ago i noticed a lot more torque and it was easyer to instal than the pipes (it took me like 3 hours to get the pipes on) it only a hour to do. and i dont know if trinity is the same but noss you just use the same studs good luck in your decision

  16. hey all i have skat trac 8 paddle normal haulers and was wondering if i should upgrade to the 9's i have t-5s, clamp ons, jets, cool head w/ 19cc domes reeds,reed spacers, lightend flywheel and +2 timming thanks for any help

  19. hey all i just did a compression test on my cylenders on both it was about 120-125 average. isnt this low since im running a cool head/w 19cc domes at about 45oo feet elevation? and i just tested it cold will it improve if i run the bike for a few minuets. also if it stays this low i can add a timing plate does anyone know about how much compression each advance adds with a timing plate thanks for any help

  21. welcome to the worl of 2-stokes i had 2 old snowmobiles that would never start in winter we had to go a day early just to get them started. and as for the oil ration i would run either 32:1 or 40:1 depending on the quality of the oil i run 40:1 with klotz brand 24:1 is way to rich

  23. hey guys i did a little search and didnt come up with anything can you guys just tell me what a longer crank saft does. from what ive read you need shorter pistons so im gussing it makes the pistons go up and down quicker. can some one correct me if im wrong cause that was just a guess thanks for any help

  25. where there many people there me and my dad went to sand mountain in the middle of summer like july and it was really strange there was one person there on a dirtbike and a stray dog , we tried to save it but it took off so im sure its dead out there some where. any wayz that night we were the only ones camping there it was kinda wierd. it was ok but it gets boring with nobody to race.
