  3. We tried 28mm pwk's on this bike and it ran the Same exact way. The cylinders were bored and ported by Dave Moore racing, but the owner of the bike put the top end together. The pistons are in the right way and the plugs are good as well as the wires, we even tried the coil off of my running bike. Jetting does nothing to help this issue, like I said before we've tried everything. Recently we tried a different stock stator and flywheel, it still runs the same. I even disconnected the Pb rev limiter from the wiring harness (green/yellow striped wire) and it still does nothing. I also tried disconnecting the wires for the brake light from the handlebars and rear brake lever (the bike is a 2003). I'm stumped at this point...
  4. Here's a video of the bike. We just changed the stator, still does the same thing. Btw I am riding at WOT. http://i56.photobucket.com/albums/g192/akickz/de323ae3.mp4

  10. Good find wfobansheeboy, looks like I picked the perfect weekend for a trip. That back section should be open on Saturday, hopefully.
  11. My 67 Firebird Not really the "hottest" of rods, but I guess my paint gives me a pass. Oh, and the irocs will come off as soon as I find a nice set of stock wheels (Don't mind the bald tires, lol).
  12. Gets some ims/roll design pegs, twice the size of the stock pegs. Never had any problems slipping or falling. Or you can run yfz pegs, they are just as wide ( http://bansheehq.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=142173 ) .
  13. If you drive to the end of the beach they usually have it sectioned off, but at certain times of the year they open it up. In this section their's larger dunes, and it also allows you to access the drags from the beach.
  14. Yes, what you see is what you get.
  15. Few pics of my banshee through it's many transformations: All Red No Rears Red & Black
  16. Will be out there for the weekend if anyone wants to join. Btw, does anyone know when they open the back section of the beach up? I heard the first week in october but I'm not sure.
  17. Only a rear shock from a 2001 raptor will work, it is the only year that has a remote resevoir. Every year after that has a piggyback rear shock that gets in the way of the upper shock mount on the banshee. It's about an inch taller than the banshee rear, I ran one that was rebuilt by works with no problem on a +4 swingarm. I recently switched over to a stock rebuilt/resprung rear shock, sits about the same height as it did with the raptor shock. In my opinion just have your stock shock rebuilt, resprung, and valved for your weight and riding style.
  18. If everything works out I should be running my yfz450R shocks (18.25" eye to eye) on a set of long travel a-arms soon. I don't have the money for aftermarket long travel shocks so the yfz450r shocks will have to do for now. I will let you know how it turns out.
  19. We've tried different pilots, needles, clip positions, mains, even carbs. Any SLIGHT change in the jetting does absolutely NOTHING. Im not trying to be an asshole but if your trying to help, do so without the condescending remarks. So now lets get back on topic, Im not trying to turn this into a pissing match.
  20. I never implied that the mechanic's who worked on his bike were any good, but even with the needle clip in the wrong position it still shouldn't run as bad as it runs now. Hell, it barely even "runs". But, whenever I find someone who knows how to tune a "bashee" you'll be the first to know.
  21. Well i believe i said it's not the jetting if im not mistaken, but thanks for the "How-to" article.
  22. Has anyone ever shaved a set of paddles? Im looking into doing a set of my own, only single buff or b2b not tripple buff. I've searched on the forum and came up empty, so if anyone has an experience or tips please share. Or should I just leave this up to a professional?
  23. Found one!
