  1. Well I was ripping around the forest on one of our sections and I was sliding around this corner on my shee. There was a rock under the snow covered up. Slid the rear rim/tire right into this big-ass rock going about 35. Pretty much stopped the rear end in place and kinda bucked me off. Bent the outside bead edge of the rim into... oh about the center-line of the rim. The cool part was that the tire just kinda went with it. Didn't blow out. I was amazed. Limped it back to the house in 1st gear going lump lump lump lump all out of whack. Going to pull the axle off and check to make sure its not screwed this weeked. So I am going to yank the rims / tires off my warrior and run them on the banshee. The shee needed new tires anyway. Ol well. Anyone run 22" tires on a banshee? I have 22" I-Razr's on the warrior right now that I am going to put on the shee till I can get new rims / tires for it. Going to be a little faster, but slight loss of power since they are heavier and taller than my previous tires.
  2. Hey good luck led! Those little warrior engines can be made into a fun screw-around quad with the 400cc kit and a good cam/pipe/intake. I have a warrior with a 400cc kit, .360 lift cam, FMF power bomb header, and FMF MegaMaxII silencer, K&N Intake, advanced timing w/ aftermarket CDI, MSD coil, and I put an Oil-cooler kit on it. (fixed up as a quad for my girlfriend at the time) and that little thing is pretty fun for a warrior. Does wheelies like a 400ex. Its a little heavy for jumping or whatnot, but makes a fun trail quad. good luck again!
  3. I have those and love them. Go from 1/4 throttle to wide open with instant response. If you are just tooling around real slow and want to go to like half throttle it is awesome.
  4. If you don't have a socket, use a big crescent wrench.
  5. I use the Primary drive as well and have no complaints. Get them off RockyMountainATV and save yourself a crap-load of money compared to that fancy stuff.
  6. Just get some 2x2 C-channel and weld up to the size you need. pretty cheap. That's how I did mine. - Jared
  7. OH MY GOD!! I cannot stop laughing at that shit. Fucking awesome. I love it!
  8. Is there any totally safe way to sell anything over the internet? That's why I always prefer to meet in person with whoever it is I am selling/buying from. This way you can pay cash for the product on the spot and not worry about checks bouncing or anything like that.
  9. Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha, haven't heard that one yet.
  10. What do you all run for the dunes? I'm running a 13x42 and like it, but want to gear it for a little more power since I do a lot of steep hill climbs. What do you recommend?
  11. Went From 210 mains to 200 and top end is better, but still have the bog when shifting down. Mains 200 Pilots (I can't get the float pin out, is there a trick to it?) I'm guessing stock. Needle clip = 2nd from blunt end. What should I try next? - Jared
  12. Yeah I would probably bang her a couple times. Take some of her money and build a nice shee.
  13. I would still love to have one on my bike, even if its not 210HP.
  14. I have found that an over-size wiffle-ball-bat does the trick for my shee. Smack! Smack! If the bats not broken its usually running. I try and carry at least 2 spare bats on my backpack when I go riding.
  15. oh yeah, its only the right cylinder that backfires.
  16. when I start my bike it backfires quite a bit until it gets warmed up. Is this a jetting problem? 200mains, dunno what pilot is, can't get the float pin off. Needle at 3rd clip from pointy end. elev. 7500ft. Temp 45
  17. Easy there... Killer Besides, I am selling an 88 for $1000 so I have you beat by a long shot.
  18. I'm selling my 88 in the for sale section. With the money left over you could make it a pretty mean toy. Definitely able to stomp a DS and a Raptor.
  19. Small Pic...
  20. Pics Sent Guys...
  21. If you are willing to pay for the shipping cost, I can send it. We could probably work something out for all that. My mom works for UPS so I have access to professionally made crates & such. Sent pics to you this morning. 11:30am MT - Jared
  22. Oh yeah, I will try and get pics posted tomarrow (Sunday) I don't have the rear plastics on the bike right now, but will include them with the bike. So just keep in mind that the pics won't have the rear plastics.
  23. I posted an 88 for sale a couple weeks ago and was working with one person about buying it but haven't heard from him recently so I am re-posting. 88 Banshee J-Arm Frame Ported Bored .080 over (370cc) Stock Pipe Answer Silencers Stock Head Brand New Top End (Less than 5 Hrs) $1000 Bike Starts first kick almost every time. Runs strong through all 6 gears. Good bike for drag racing since J-Arm frame. Front plastics have fenders cut. I am located in SE Wyoming. I am willing to drive up to 100-150 miles from Cheyenne, WY for delivery or meet. Cheyenne is located approx. 90 miles north of Denver, CO.
  24. ok just finished putting a new top end on, had the same problem just before putting new top end on. When I am in any gear and kick it down to a lower gear my shee will bog real bad, and the only way I can get it back on the pipe is if I hold the throttle wide open, then it takes about 2 to 3 seconds before it gets on the pipe. I think it might be too rich? Stock Pipe Stock Head K&N Clamp on w/ no lid on airbox Ported Elev. = 8000ft. TORS removed but I don't have that little idle kit.
  25. I know what you mean. I ride there a lot. Have you ever gone down deadman on the back side of the big set of dunes? Up there where the river used to run through before they diverted it around the smaller dunes... There isn't even enough room to flip a bitch to turn around you have to get off and turn your shit around by hand, then you only have about 1 quad length before the hill. Only banshee's I have ever seen get out of it without help are strokers. I tried once with mine and got about 4/5 of the way up and bogged down. Ended up pulling the SOB up the hill by hand since I was alone. haha
