That is what I kinda figured when you said stones. The ball hones are by far a better way to go. The type you have is pretty easy to remove some serious material if you are not carefull. Works just as well as a ridge reamer in my opinion. I guess just be real carefull...

You want to use a lube. Mineral spirits work great. If you have a parts washer, just dip the cyl or hone in it and run the hone through the cyl just once or twice. I am not a fan of the type you buy from sears w/the arms on it, what kind of hone do you have?

Keep the lockup and run all stock springs. You don't need HD springs w/the lockup especially if you are only running a +6 swinger w/a cub motor. If anything you want that initial slip. The lockout is not what is causing the clutch to pull hard. The easy lever will always help. I can guarentee you if you get rid of that lockup, you will be kicking yourself in the rear later. Another thing to check is your cluctch cable itself. W/moisture comes corrosion and they begin to pull very hard. But don't sell the lockup.

I wouldn't go any more that a 10 paddle. It will be a wheelie machine w/a 10 paddle w six over swinger and 4 mil cub. But six is as long as you want to go if you still want to do any serious duning still.

You can replace those rubber boots. Cascade has them.

First of all, as Dave mentioned, I would have a really hard time sending this dude the stuff back on good faith that he will send my money when he recieves it. Good faith is out the door, I am not getting the shaft twice. Next thing is, I asked for my money back more than a month ago. I gave up on that possibility and those cyls are at Millenium getting welded and plated as we speak. I couldn't hold out forever to beg this guy long enough to get him to do something. I have asked him several times to give me $170 to cover a new piston and dome and I would eat the cost of welding the cylinders. I don't think that is a terrible deal.....

If you have so many toys, that means you have cash. That also means that it should not have been a big problem to just refund my money...You lied, I wasn't happy about it, could be end of story. What you don't seem to understand is that one lie you told made all the difference in the world. Anyone that knows anything about motors knows if one part has damage, there is other damage as well. All you had to do was say, yep they are pitted, and I would have said" ok, have a great day" and you could have sold them to someone else. How can you not see the simple fix here???

You are correct... He said it is useable, but again, you specifically lied to me about the condition of that particular item. I specifically asked you if it was pitted, you said no. That in my book means you owe me an unpitted dome. You also told me everything else that is bad was good so why would I want another supposed good used part from you? Like I said, I can go around in circles about this w/you...Just like talking to a wall. You will get yours someday bro. I know you are only 23 and have lots to learn, but it looks like you are one that will take the hard road to get there.
