  1. The Sterlings are back to being 100% Daimler............. you just have to wait for the new models to come out inorder to get rid of the old DOdge and Ford crap off of them.
  2. My red bike got the bend treatment and I did not have to grind anything. Please note that I have fancy foot pegs though, that may have gotten me out of grinding. My blu bike has a one-off ally (British for aluminum) brake lever.................. so that doesn't count. :geek:
  3. Word. However, I don't like Namura enough to tell you to buy Wiseco's if you are going forged and Pro-X's if you are going cast. I will also encourage people to make their own, but I seem to be the only one who does that kind of thing. :geek:
  4. I am offended (not really)............. If you PM me a question, I will answer it the same day most of the time, or I will refer you to dajogejr or BigRed350X. They are IMO the best technical resources on here.
  5. What's a surch button? Is it kind of like a Search button? (just messin with ya)
  6. Yeah, action is who I am talking about. I think they want $5k, but I am pretty sure if I rolled in there with a $4500, I would leave with a bike. I have to go out to Cascade to pick up my seats on Saturday. They have an '06 SE on their showroom floor, if I get all wound up by that color scheme again, I will stop and buy one on the way home. I am considering using it as a piece of living room furniture.

Where are we at here: It seems that Dave will be attending a picnic with a 6 pack of ass snack packs and a circus midget is going to toss his salad. ............that's just great. On the upside, I don't think that will make Detroit smell any worse than it already does.
  8. Word. If I didn't love to go to work, because I like what I do for a living, I would have lost my mind a long time ago. :geek:
  9. Maybe my shock will show up sooner.......... Now you've got me all excited.

Lite would generally lead one to believe it is fat free............
  11. That secondary gauge panel probably cost quite a bit of cash. Not too many folks seem to spend that kind of money on the classic round gauges anymore. I take that truck is onwed by an owner/operator?
  12. You're not far off on the link theory of things................ leverage is the wrong word to use though. What the link is all about is changing the motion of the shock in comparison to suspension travel. By moving the shock in a different arc than the arm, you effectively put the shock travel into a more normalized stay that, by design, is spent in the median travel of the shock's piston. Soimething to read about if you are so inclined is rocker arm or rising rate suspension in Formula 1, Baja racing, etc. There is alot of internesting stuff out there on the net for it. It's a fun thing to know some trivia about atleast.
  13. What kind of riding are you going to do with that? FYI: 100hp with Rippers in hard sand may net you a broken transmission. With that said, +10" probably a good length to start with. You'll get some people to tell you to go longer......... Personally, I am a shorter swingarm guy. My red bike puts out 109hp at the PTO and it only has a +4" arm (I don't usually drag race it when a launch is required). :geek: As a comparison point: My blue bike has a +10" arm and makes another 50hp at the PTO than yours does and I can launch it, but I think, as per recommended by Dave, I am going to need a wheelie bar for serious track work.
  14. For comparison, here is my +10" arm with a link that is a little more hill shooter oriented:
  15. You are having a rough time lately................. I hope things get better soon!

If the ass weighs 300 .lbs, do you still get to call it a snack? Maybe we can get JonJon to answer that (referee: we need a fat ass ruling)? :yelrotflmao: :yelrotflmao:
  17. One of the interesting things my group does is competitor quality evaluation. International is terrible on the truck side of things, beyond that, the Locestar we got our hands on developed a harmonic in the roof cap at 45 mph that made you feel like your head was going to explode if you didn't open a window. Atleast Freightliners don't have fuel slosh warning lights, but depending on how you spec. the truck, you can pretty much get a warning light for anything. :geek:
  18. I am sure it's some kind of gay thing............., but I don't get it? :ermm:
  19. I don't thinmk they lied to me............ I kinda wanted some special stuff done. :geek:
  20. The Lonestars are about the gayest looking thing out there. Can you tell the stylist behind that body work is a German and a big fan of model trains (I have met the guy)?

Easy there big boy, we're not in prison. :ermm:
  22. Yarnell is back up about three weeks at the moment for new orders. If someone has some Marvins they were sitting on and not using, it would be a great time to sell them. I would up having to order a new shock, because I could not find any that would work for me that were for sale used.......

...............I'm not exactly the world's smartest cookie, but I can come up with ideas like that without too much trouble.
  25. That video is the biggest thing going lately in the shop at my facility. All of the tech.'s with laptops can seem to stop watching it and reenacting it. The eye contact and finishing parts made me fall down laughing the first time I saw it.
