That's not a good comparison.
Come on now, there actually isn't that much difference between a Champ Car, an IRL, and an F1 car these days.
The closest thing you'll find to a 1/4 mile test is the split time from the BAR Honda that is set up for the land speed record, and the Ferrari that is set up for basically the same thing. As a point of fact the open wheel cars that we're talking about have a very near equal weight bias, they don't transfer much weight under acceleration, and they have very high ratio first gears (compared to most things). If you tossed out a CF of .9 for the rear tires, assumed no wheel spin, then an IRL car could do an 8.37 second quater mile, mathematically, of course.
