You need to generate a lot of force to break the bead, so make a long 2x4" bar (the "Maloney bar"), maybe 6' long or so. Round one end and drill a 5/8" hole in it, and pick up a 6" long 5/8" bolt (and nut, and washers) at your local hardware store. If you have exposed studs on your garage walls ... uh.. hey, stop laughing -- I'm trying to teach you something here you little monkeys. If you have exposed studs that you don't mind drilling a 5/8" hole through, you can use one as a pivot point. My garage has plywood walls, so I had to bolt some 2x4"s to the wall to use as a pivot. Attach a short "ram" to the lever, preferably on a pivot of its own (to make it more adjustable), at a point where you can use it to apply much force to the sidewall of the tire. Make sure your ram is long enough to push the sidewall way down -- otherwise you'll be unpleasantly surprised at how far down you can push the sidewall down before the bead releases. When you're trying to break the bead, make sure you're pushing on the sidewall right next to the rim.

put a bigger front sprocket on and see what you get
-
if i was you i would do it my self. it will cost about half the money and itwould get done sooner depending on how buisy the machanic is. how old are you? you can buy a clymer repair manual that shows you step by step how to do it. and the other good thing about doing it your self it once the engine is apart you can go and do other things to it while its open. there are kids here about 15 that can take apart an engine and put it back together so.

the file size might be too big.

i dont need an education. if i need more money in the future i will further educate my self. some of you guys are just completely clueless. you think i will "come around" someday? wait till you get older kid and see who comes around. it wont be me. ill give you $20 if you can enlighten me on what exactly that means. i bet you dont have any clue what that means. this place is filled with over grown kids. too kool to face themselves. living by comparison day to day.

does putting people down make you feel better about your self?

did you see something stock on there? LOL try buying a new banshee and mod it your self? you will easily through away 2 grand carbs radiator pipes swing arm painted frame billet water pump billet clutch cover shocks front bumper handlebars steeringstem tires a-arms coolhead welded and trued crank rims pistons paddles clutch lever block off plate dyna ignition axel, axel nut. with all that assume hes got a clutch and air filter in there. some one bitch slap firehead for me. but if this is your first bike i would probably pass on it because i think the bike shoul ony be as good as the rider. no posers. reminds me back in the day when these little kids got sick freestyle and bmx bikes but they couldnt even ride them. grrr do what you want but your not gonna get riped off for 7,500. do you really need all that stuff?
-
another look at it and there is a lot of stuff onn that bike. i would say that its probably worth the money if you want it. just wondering about this swing arm is this suposed to be bent or is it just me?
-
i cant say how much itys worth or not but. if its your first banshee you might want somehing worth a little less. looks good thought its got a lot more than what you mentiond too.

its 4oz to a gal for 32:1. rour tank hold about 3 gal so when you fill it put about 12oz in with it. you better not forget about mixing with that new shee or youll be all the way home. i dont know about carring your oil i never did it. i have carried tools in my pockets though to tweek the carbs along the way. bad idea, so far i lost 1 pipe wrench 3 screwdrivers, 1 adjustable. definatly sux ass. im thinking about a napsac thing to hold stuff but if i fall i dont need a srewdriver in my lung. but i only ride woods so it your at a track or what not there it no need. best thing is to strap it down domewhere. im thinkin about making a storage container in the front frame to hold water and stuff when trail riding.

got a dilema guys, need your advice.

maybe you should take your time and go over this bike and learn about it. then sell it the same way the guy you bought it from sold it. that way you will get the money and you can buy another one. unless this was a steal and you can afford a new frame -

you may as well just sell the whole bike. you would probably get about the same.

try sending an email to the dmv and have them email you back. prolly wont do that but worth a shot. find someone with a bent frame that there gonna trash and ask them for the vin number then it dont matter if its on the frame you have it on your peice of paper. tell them your thinkig about buying a bike and was wondering if it was stolen, if they come at saying it is give them all the details. were there any eye witnesses at the trade? if there was people there then your all set. hes not gonna take you to court over it. if he does you have people there to varify it. always get a bill of sale though. -
i didnt think there was much of a difference between a tether switch and a toggle switch. what i ment was a toggle switch.
-
i wanna put little toggle switches on the back sides of the headlight housings. has anyone ever done this or know know how to do it? i looked at the standard wiring diagram but i couldnt figure out exactly how to do it. anyone who had any ideas i would like to hear them. thanks
-
lol. once they flip its all over. garenteed somethings bent. aluminum bars an alluminum grab bar are the first to go. my silencers were bent when i crashed. hope your wrist doesnt cause too many problems in the future. take care of it for a while and let it heal right instead of using it and straining it and stuff.
-
i wanna put a toggle switch on the case of the head lights. one with on off and reverse positions. so i can have the dimmer also instead os just the high ones. anyone know where i can find a wireing diagram or know anyone who has done it?
-
