Well couldnt taKE IT Any longer so i threw the stock head back on, after bein in peices since july its back out and runnin and may i add running good to, it feels good did every last bit of work myself, only thing is i forgot to put that little thing that holds the clutch cable down on, so it kept poppin but just went out and fixed that to, ill get some pics of it of the finished product toamrow hopefully but daAm it felt good to be able to say to my freinds meet me at 12 after school to go ridin, it almost makes the fact that i have my second day back to school forgetable

I got 100 bucks nocked off the bill but they didnt give me any of my bolts back, when i got the bike home i was like nice they put thre plasrics on for me then i took the steat of and they took all the screws that hold the plastics on and my gas tank bolts not to mention my brand new gasket so i gotta go try and get thosre tomarow

I need o rings for the domes and i local guy has them but he says there from pro design but i think the o rings for the domes are the same correct??

Its been a long month, having annoying kids around the neihborhood come aropund on there bayou 220s and timberwolf 250s and say to me while im workin on my shee, "banshees suck there not even that fast i bet with my new tires i can keep up with it" It justs kills me i wanna hop on it and smoke them, i got my banshee in june like around june 20th maybe, got a good month in on it then it blew up so i just finsihed rebuilding it to find out i need a new head becuase coolent was lekain everywhere, but than god for noss head or id be screwed , so im waiten on a part that should get me out on the trails again, but for that 2 days i had it back together i polished it put thois plastic renew on it and dam i just sat out there on it started at it slowly took it around the block with antifreeze flowing out of the pipes, i even went as far as sleeping on it using the crossbar pad as a pillow, my banshee is the best material possesoin i own and i love that thing i dont think ill ever sell it someday to the next generation theyll be like woooo you have a quad from back in 97, but anyway at ever opurtunity i get i go and look at that quad and line it up next to my honda foreman 450 and just look in amazment wow i cant belive i own these creations brb i gotta do the next best thing to sitting on banshee in peices, turn thew flywheel and whats the pistons go up and down

Yeah im gonna steal a nice crossbar pad for myself on the way out and maybe some frame paint, i mean NOTHING is fixed and im paying them 250 bucks, could anyone say brand new pair of v force reeds?? So basicly im paying them 250 bucks to have torn apart my banshee this is redic, im not a difficult customer by any means and im not cheap either, but i cant see paying 250 bucks for absualty nothing becuase in my book 250 dollars is alot of cash

Ok i gotta ask this again you guys are mixing 100 to 1 im mixing 3 ounces of amsoil to a gallon of gas somthing dont sound right is it safe to mix only 3 ounses to a gallon or what should i be mixing i always run amsoil recing series

Thanx for the input they did find out my problem a tough one to the cool head was leaking.... That must of took a good 20 hours of looking under a microscope , no woindre there getting 50 bucks an hour

I took my banshee up to a shop to have it looked over after i rebuilt it myself, becuase it was makin a odd sounds out of one cylinder and spittin coolent out of the pipe, so they call me today and tell me 250 bucks, i figure ok thats more than i expected but hey its fixed and ready to ride, so then they go on to tell me it will be 550 to finish it and actualy fix the problem, so there chargin me 250 to have takin it apart becuase they guy said that he had to take it apart 2wice ,which is not my problem nor should i have to pay for them to take it apart and put it back together 2wice becuase he said when they got it back together the 1st time it still wasnt fixed, so i said screw it i just plain and simply dont have 550 bucks i dont even have 250, so now im paying them 250 dollars and picking my banshee up in boxes when i brought it there in 1 piece and rideable, so what do you guys think im gettin ripped or is this guy bein honest??

Am i doin somthing wrong by running 3 ounces of amsoil to 1 gallon of gas????

YEAh i just replaced both intake manifolds tho so i dont no if there can be a leak but im defiantly gonna check becuase thats why i had to rebuild in the 1st place, its noyt loud backfiring its just slight poping like i said one pipe sounds rough like a dirtbike the other smooth like the shee

Ok Just rebuilt my banshee by myself wih some help from my uncle but anywaY IT STARTS GREAT IDLES GREAT runs good not yet broken in but one cylinder pops for some reson or another it pops at idle to wot one cylinder sounds like a dirtbike the other smooth like a banshee what could this be?????????

Yesterday was the big day got the whole banshee back together after finishing my new top end after one side had a meltdown, so i started it up it ran great rved up nice let it idle a good 20 minutes then shut it off let it cool then tured it on let it dle reved it a bit then i noticed somthing smoke from one side but not the other and it was comin fom the side which melted lst time due to a cracked intake manifold which i replaced, ok smoke no big deal becuase there running equaly warm with both having good compresoin, so after a while one cylinder starts soundsing like a dirtbike with that high pitched kinda poping if you no what i mean normal for a dirtbike, so then i rev it and it felt like little tiny junk was comin out of the side then it started back firing lound so i killed it before i take it back apart what could of gone wrong, i didnt split the case open but i cleaned it to where it looked spotless becuase therewas about an inch of melted piston shaving but could those things be cuasin this and will there be any damage

My freind took a link or 2 out for me while i had the banshee ripped apart becuase my chain was tightend all the way by the swingarm so we figured plenty of room to spare now im only missing it connecting by like a cenemeter how do i adjust the swingarm to make the chain give me enoug slack to put the master link back through

YeaH MAN SAME PROBLEM IM HAVIN IT LOOKS LIKE ONE SIDE IS WAY MORE OUT THAN THE OTHER, sry for the caps dont feel like re typin it, but also one of my springs dosnt even need to be strectched to put on it just sits on the frame and pipe loose, and on top of that the jugs seemed to be tipped in a way that the pipes dont wanna slide over them as easily.. Got another problem see my other post to

I was gonna say thats a honda rebel motor, they must be pretty quick my nieghbor has a rebel and for a 250 its qucik and told me he had it doin 70 with 2 riders, i mean it looks like a pos but maybe its half dec with the rebel motor

I got all 4 moter mount bolts tight and when i put my pipes on my fmfs they dont seem to fit right up against the jugs like they did i mean they fit on theere but not fully should i not worry about it?? I doubt any exuasght will exscape..

I was just at pulaski comin from lake ontario becuase the waves were to big to go out onto the lake fishing but nice little town there and i was crusin becuase i wouldnt think there would be copson that long straight road that runs alon g ontario

I got a mouth full of antifreeze pulling my hose off the head a few weeks ago kinda tastes like blue gatorade tho.. But when running my quad leaks it everwhere and just pours onto the pipes cuasing huge white smoke effect, aftyer like an hour or so of riding my coo;ent bottle is bone dry..

Yeha man thats the one ulitima online is what i used to play, i loved my grand master tamer my dragons were unstopable in pvp i would of owned u anyday if my drgon didnt get the job done i would of whipped out my gm fencer God those were the days of playin ultima till 4 in the morning if my stuff isnt deleted ill go back sometime..

Thanx a ton for the replies, im gonna buy those blue fenders, and some maier white rear fenders, no one seems to have the blue front white rear plastic so i guess it will be a fairly new look, the only thing that really sucks is i just painted the entire frame black and touched up alot of spots that were chipen not to mention the red a arms, becuase i curently have black plastics with the alba red tribal flame graphics kit so i dont quite no how that black frames gonna look with the blue but well see if i can gett he money to get these new plastics thanx again..
