i kinda like that 2 piece design. i dont think strength is too much of an issue there, since its not like the cylinders have any forces trying to spread them apart.

yesterday i scored a yellow jacket go kart for $75 bucks. the engine runs but needs to be cleaned before doing so, and it all there except a clutch and maybe a new chain. but im wondering, does anyone here have something like it? its fully suspended with a shitty design a-arm front and a swing arm rear. right now it has just coilovers. nothing special, just springs riding on some shafts. however, I have already come up with some replacment equipment. for the rear i , uhh, found the stock rear shock off of an '03 cbr600rr. so that way ill have some more travel as well as full adjustability, and if i play my numbver right ~10in of travel . for the front i came up with another set of oil filled coilovers but im not sure what they go to. but anyways, if i find the right parts for the damn thing im thinkin itll be pretty cool. plus the motor has a high compression head and possibly a cam. down to the point: does any one have any knowledge as to how to hop up briggs and stratton motors? i know they do it for jr dragsters, but i need reliability. no 1/4 miler here, i wanna bash some fuckin terrain. anyone?

i went back and read over the 450 specs for both yamaha and honda, and damn. if suzuki doesnt come out with one ass kickin ball stompin quad then the yfz450 is gonna reign supreme muthafucka. more suspension, more radiator and more motor for the same weight. this is good times for the quads.
