Works perf makes shocks yes. works connection does not. Works connection will rework factory forks (for bikes) and rear shocks, like Racetech.

beer! youre talkin my language. if you ride at night a lot of guys upgrade their lighting systems to high output bulbs. its not a simple bolt on mod though, you need an HO stator which run around $200, plus lights. your riding areas really determine your mods unless your . so if youre gonna be water free try ditchin the airbox in lieu of a free flowing filter. i prefer UNI, but that debate is like honda vs yamaha. good tires are a must. if your chain is poopin off the sprocket when the power hits it prob time for some new ones. try www.rockymountainatv.com for some cheap ones. they start at $7 for a front and $15 for a rear. its best to replace both and the chain at the same time for even wear. thast all i think of for immediate mods.

i dont know if you can buy the factory connectors for things like the CDI. but if you are just wiring up some lights go to an atuo shop and look OEM grade terminals. they can be kinda high, but the work so much better.

i think its fuckin cool. and maybe if you had a master cylinder from say a 1000rr, that would push some fluid. motulmonsta, i see no reason it wouldnt work so long as you got the correct size banjo nut(s) on your brake line(s).

i doubt the scratch has that much to do with it. yes, it could cause extra heat but that much would be unreasonable. dont just change the head gasket. take the head and put it on a check plate to make sure its flat, with the proper procedures a good machinist can even determine if there are very small knicks in the head. if your going to have it apart it wouldnt be a bad idea to pull the studs from the cylinders and have them checked for flat also. any slight imperfection over a few thousandths of an inch cannot be made up by the gasket and must be ground out.

I highly disagree. no street bike will ever be a full on race bike. the '05 might be what was race ready in '95, but racing too has progressed. until a blue or red comes with a tunable efi, GP shift, and suspenions set up for your weight; its not race ready. thats just the components, passin tech inspection is a whole 'nother ball game.
