  1. check all the electrical connections on the bike. primarily the ones on the coil, an orange and a black. those have been the only ones to ever come off on my bike.

    K&T

i knew what youre talking about. theres no other place times like that are posted and are actually accurate.
  5. my favorite on goes something like: Lawyer: Were you and your borther sent to war? Man: Yes Lawyer: And which one of you died in combat?

  7. haha, i cant help ya with that one. but what im wondering is what part do they graft? the whole frontend or just the suspension portion? kinda makes me wonder about the steering stem and front plastic mounts.
  8. unless you put them on the rear to compensate for the wider front end?
  9. i dont even think it would ned to be DEAD straight. its going to be ridden in the dirt where the bars are constantly moving, not at Laguna Seca. Aligntment and steering imperfections would cover up a lot of little errors.
  10. well its the name of the dudes company for one thing, NOSS machine. May be his name too.
  11. ok PRM it is.
  12. hey, theres nothing wrong with a lil five finger discount from a huge corporation. i wont steal from an individual, but when it comes to ripping off corporate America, im in.
  13. i likes me some cross canadian, local stillwater boys. plus some tim mcgraw, tracy lawrence, and Led Zeppelin.
  14. ya Dean's 'shee is absolutley SICK. its in a different class than htis one though, and 17" is plain fucking crazy. you have my unrelenting praise for DIY frame modifications.

    HELP

I cut mine out with an angle grinder spinning a 5" cutting wheel. took about 8 seconds and I got to buy a new bolt. You can pound it out, but cutting so much faster. Plus if you hit it like a man youre going to wreck the threads and have ot buy a new bolt anyway. Point of advice: when you go back together with it put a some antiseize on the bolt and the sleeve it rides in.
  16. my dad LOVES his sirius, mainly because it has more sports on it than XM.
  17. I want some body armor for my ride and I want some opinions. Im pretty set on PRM unless someone can give really good reasons not to go that route. So lets hear what you have to say.
  18. i concur with the above post. brooke, as poor of a judgement or decisiont it seems, its the truth. the school i am currentlign attending is for the most part segregated, not so much black vs. white but in so many other areas. its not getting better, and i firmly stand by my previous post. Bat..i see what you mean by your comment on rugheads. they arent all that way as no one group is EVER going one direction, but i see youre point of view.
  19. i believe in the world of motorsports you should get a red or blue. pick a color and be happy. However, this is where I differ. Having had the chance to ride MANY MANY small framed quads, the Polaris is my choice. Fuck, its a two stroke. Bomb-proof, and cheap to rebuilld once you get a really good bomb. Those things are fast and nimble, not to mention they are fairly upgradable. Hell once i saw a 250r motor in one of those chassis. Youre gonna pay a little moe over an E-ton, but then again, you get what you pay for.
  20. youre gonna need some serious capital to cover the cost of fab'ing a frame from the ground up. you may want to rethink this.
  21. ya, thats a good way to go about finding one cheap. It still wouldnt be a cheap swap though. Youd have to pick up lots of honda parts. Arms, brakes, spindles, and what ever else.
  22. good call walt, i had forgotten about the material differences.
  23. its simple math really. the bikes wiegh about the same. one just has 750cc's more displacement.
  24. id skip on the 250r for my first job. maybe go with a 400ex for availability and the cheaper price. just a thought.
  25. why do the OEM's keep making stupid looking rezzies on their shocks? those things look like they'd impede more flow than anything.
