im pretty sure that in NYC you can find at least one steel yard, and it doesnt come in 8ft lengths, at least not where i shop. they are typically 24 or 20ft sticks. so if you drive up and have 2 24's cut into three pieces each you have some of your cutting almost done. and depending on how much you want, and how heavy you want it, it maybe as little as 20-25 bucks a stick. plus that will be much heavier (read: longer lasting and better towing) than a lightweight HF trailer. ive bought many tools at HF, and its good for saving money. this trailer is probably good for lawn mowers and things of the such; but if it takes a shit with your quad, and possibly another, on the back your gonna wish you had dropped some more coin on that steel. plus if you build it yourself you can add neat features like a long tongue, spare tire rack, dog box, whatever.

ive never seen it done that i know of on a quad. i have seen it done many many times on bigger truck shocks though, like Kings and Foxs. its a fairly simple procedure if you know a thing or two about shocks. just gotta install some new ones then bleed the system and recharge with Nitrogen.

i dont have a diagram, but here goes: the large hose from the head goes to the large upper fitting on the radiator. the small hose from the head goes into the small upper fitting on the radiator. the large hose from the case/waterpump goes to the only lower fitting on the rad. the short large hose goes from the head to the case, it rests between the reeds. the line from the case should have 3 lines at the tee- one to the rear of the case, one to the front and one to the atmosphere. now im gonna draw a shitty diagram in paint.
