I drew up what i think will be my a-arms in AutoCAD 2007. SO if anyone would like to view them let me know, or host them that would be sweet. i dunno if its backwards compatible or not, so you may need ACAD '07 to see them. if you dont have it you caa download it from the Autodesk website for free. Please check em out and tell me what you think.

IM trying to figure some things out and i need to know how much travel the shock allows for.

a, how does the billet attach? is it glued? cause i dont want anyone cutting threads into the bearing race on my joints. b, isnt the advantage to heim the ability to set it up in double shear as well as the possibility of a hi-mis spacer? you cant do either with a billet cap covering half of the joint.

Paint it red or call it dead. Lincoln SP-135, super easy to learn on since there are minimal adjustments on the machine. pretty afforadable too, probably a 1/4 the price of MM 225.

what size? im curious to see what i need for mine, but i think ill use .750" with a reducer to .500 and ream the spindles.

i am in the process of designing my new a-arms, should be sweet. going trophy truck style: boxed steel lowers, milled aluminum uppers. big heims with his-mis spacers on the ends too. eventually i may make my own spindles so the y-axis travels in rotation instead of the x-axis. pretty much im gonna rotate the joints 90*.
