why did someone ask if she rejetted for a bigger bore? i dont think i have ever heard of that before. i mean really, that extra 8 CC's or whatever gonna lean you out that bad?
it also doesnt contract or expand in relation to temperature, thats why its great for tires. think superbike, thats all those guys will use. im sure many other pavement sports have gone the same way.
they may be different, cause i know the brakes were, so the mounts maybe diff. call a dealership and gave them look the OEM parts up, then ask if the PN#'s are the same, that should tell you.
mine was less than 175 OTD. but i also worked for a dealership and get some pretty good deals. plus the service manager was a racetech instructor, so its a pretty damn good working shock.
you should be ok if you got the 40mm kit. its not gonna matter really whether its for a bike or not. they include mucho valving shims. however! this is important, YOU HAVE TO BUY A NEW SEAL HEAD! you WILL DESTROY your OEM one removing it.
read this thread i wrote. and if you have any q's PM me.

ya well, ya know? why not spend money on it instead? haha.
i guess i could estimate. measure the visible shock shaft, plus 50% of the bottom out bumper? i can take mine apart, but where would i measure?
