Im at about 800'. runs great once it gets going. Get this though, i just went out to start working on it and looking for an air leak. Figured id give a shot at starting 1st....2nd kick and she came screaming to life. Maybe it was being tempermental. Ill try again tonight after work and see if i get the same outcome. whats the WD 40 trick for airleaks, just spray it on, start and watch for bubbles or what?

Weather hasnt changed much at all, about 5-10*. I could have created an air leak but i was carefull to make sure everything seated properly. And choke or no choke that bitch aint stating in less than 20 kicks

Brand new plug WOT, i could only hold WOT in 6th for about 6-7 seconds before i ran out of road. This is the 1st time i did a chop. Looks about like 2mm, but kinda on the dark side. Its got 172 mains in now. CGL on the middle clip. The rest of the porcelan got a but dirty from my greasy hands but you can still see the band good.

33's should do you fine in the trails..... thats what i have on my bike, and i still have plenty of bottom end power. Im still running stock stroke as well. With the added tourqe your getting from your 4mm, the 33's will do you well. At most your going to be bitching about a sore thumb

It wont hurt the motor at all running stock carbs, but it will hinder the performance. To get the max out of it you should look into some 35 mm carbs

is your lid on or off? ANy holes in the box? Id say 270 - 280 for lid on, 310-320 for removed lid... hows it running? pull the float bowls and see what you have in there

yea your way lean on the main, hence the cutting out. Go up to a 310-320 stock carbs are 26MM

I think that will make you a bit rich. Id try that at first, and then try going down one on each to a 27.5 / 310 main

Jetting got to be off then. Maybe your really rich on the main and cylinder is getting flooded with fuel, or really lean, and its starving. COuld also be a broken reed. When i had a broke reed it wouldnt rev clean, had absolutly no power, and i could hold that bitch pinned in neutral, and only get her cranking about 7000 rpm. Do a plug chop and see what they look like.

I agree with banjo to a point. Your probly not able to get it on the pipe because when you dump the clutch, its got too much gear to pull. Thus its bogging. Gear down a tad and that should solve it. I never start any race in 1st, way to short, and way to much wheel spin. If your only going 300', that split second it takes to get from 1st to 2nd can make or break ya in a close race. Gear a a bit different, and rev her to the moon before you leave the line

I picked up my 02 for $3000.... as i sit today, im about 10K in I hate to think of that, but then i look at it , or ride it, and to get all the "nice bike" compliments makes it worth every penny
