I bought elkas from someone on planetsand. They didnt have a spacer or bushing whatever goes there. I tried some rubber washers i brought home from work, but it didnt work out well. The shock will still tilt side to side a couple of degrees. WHat should i put in there? See the pic to see what i am talking about.

These are brand new pipe hangers from RMWBILLET.com. Only put em on long enough to see that they wouldnt line up properly with my shearers. $50 new... first $40 takes em.

Banshee's are just as reliable as any other quad, and actually require less manitainence IMO. When it comes time all you have to do is bore it and get a piston kit. No valves to adjust, and all the other shit that a thumper has. Doing a top end rebuild would probly cost less becuase of this as well. Shees have a bad rep about blowing up because people dont know how to take care of it... jet it wrong or whatever. Just make sure you check the compression before you buy it... should be about 115-125 per side, much lower than that and you will need a new top end. Take care of it and it will take care of you, just keep it jetted properly, and the oil changed, and dont look back (unless you want to see how far ahead you are of the 4 strokes)

not to mention that you only get a 5 foot run at it before you start going up. Im gonna do my best to make it to this event, although i will probably have my ass handed to me.

For those who have seen "The Cell" will know what i am talking aboout. Tie that fucker on a table cut a hole in him and wrap his intestine to a roller, slowly cranking away at the roller. THis would only take place after I burned his eyes out with and welding torch, cut his ears off with a dull rusty knife. Broke every finger, toe, arm, leg etc... squeezed his head in a vise, hooked jumper cables to his balls, beat him relentlessly for a few days. I like that rat thing too. People like this fuckin whacko deserve no remorse. Someone said hang him in town sqaure so the other people get the picture.I for one think it is a great idea. But our country is so damned conservative anymore it would be "violating his rights". Yea, i bet he thought real long and hard about that poor little girls rights. We as a country need to up the anty on people like this, not only sexual predators, but serial killers, and all the other sick fucks alike. There are little to no consequences for people that commit crimes of this nature. I have always been a supporter of capitol punishment, but i think they take it too easy on them. They sit in prison for 5, 10,15 years then get a needle in the arm. They take every precaution so it it less painless and "humane". How painless and humane was it when Scott took off Laci's head, or when this guy raped and killed the little girl. To hell with that they deserve to be in agonizing pain. I say if you kill someone... you get offed the same way. That way you know what the last minutes of the life you took was like. If we got ballsy as a country and started eliminating the waste as it came to the table, the bad guys would see this and most likely think twice before commiting a serious crime.

LMAO Pressure washers work wonders on the stock decals. Take it to the car wash. Then you dont have to scrub like you would with soap and water, no need to use goo gone for that annoying residue

Yea, Youll still have to pull the cover and get the plates and fibers out. Get out your calipers and measure them at several points . It should list tolerances in your clymer. As for the cable play that was metioned. He wasnt refering to how easily the clutch pulls. You are suppsed to have a set amount of play at the lver before it actually gets enough tension to pull the cable. Dont remember the exact # but its somting like 1/8- 3/16 " ??? SOmeone correct me on that cuz I'm sure i am way off

Should be tuning my shee by the end of next week and am curious about the keihen needles. I have 33mm PWK's. Not sure which needle is in it now, but i know it will likely need adjusted and / or changed. I know the basic needle concept... where it affects the power, how to adjust lean / rich, and the charicteristics of the taper... but i hear a lot of people talking about BEG, CGL and so on. This is the part i dont understand. AFter i determine what one i have in it, if it isnt the correct one how do i know which one to get ? and where to get it from, can you order direct from keihin Thanks guys

I have one on both of my quads. I think they work great. Not sure about the other aftermarket levers, but with the asv you have to move your light switch over, and put the lever on the inside of it otherwise you cant get it to pull in. Other than that small clearance issue its great

Where can I get some nice pipe clamps for my new shearers? I guess that is what they are called.... the little clamp thing that goes where the pipe / stinger connect. Started her for the first time today and i have a leak there. Ive seen some around but none of them say the I.D... Are most pipes the same size therefore making the clamps universal? Thanks ahead of time

Pretty sure stock is supposed to be around 120 depending on your elevation. Ive always heard that much below 110-105, or more than 10% difference in the 2 sides is time for a new top end. Im pretty new to the banshee world so this may not be totally acurate
