I got mine from dennis kirk as a kit with the lube it wasn't very much maybe under $10? I'm sure rocky mountain has them too.

Depends on your target market.

I don't know anything about power pistons but if you put your shaved head back on and the compression is higher run race gas and I would think you should be fine. Maybe somebody knows more about those pistons. See what the compression is with it on. Also do you have a welded crank? you might want to think about having it done if you get your compression really high.

From Noss's web site it appears that at sea level you'd need race gas since compression would be near 169, at 1300' you'd be ok on premium pump gas. Noss's chart tends to be conservative. But since your machine isn't new you might not have that high of compression. You need to check it and if you're near 160psi run race gas.

I have one and it works. Not sure of a better way.

I don't understand what do you mean he took the domes out? you'd have to replace them with another set of domes if you took them out. Does it have the 20's in it right now? What's your elevation? Any timing advance? Have you checked your compression? If your compression is over 160 you need race gas.
