  1. I think any degumed castor would work great.
  2. Hard to make it out but its a rocket.
  3. not until after 10:00pm now range is no go. Window is until 11:47
  4. Your right I just calculated that I do 80miles a month not including practice and riding off weekends. So thats just over 1000 miles. A race is 8-9 mile lap -5 laps 2 races a month. Not including practice lap in morning.
  5. Atlas rocket going up at 9.42pm tonight. Anyone within 300miles on the east coast should be able to see it from the cape.
  6. Im just telling you from my experience I ran it 50:1. I run klotz and mobil at 32:1. What they experienced after one race and needed a rebuild? I run two different series here in Fl. Quad scrambles and Harescrambles. My engine is good all year. The piston has a slight wobble (about .045 clearance from the .03 overbore) but no scuffing and only a slight brown tint on the dome. The exhuast port only has a thin film of clear oil on it.
  7. He is right about in the middle. My works pro triple were mx and were harsh on small bumps at slow speed. Mx is a high speed set up seems to ride nice at high speeds. My axis are for woods racing and are lot more plush. Dip hard in braking and turns.
  8. I suggest to do it the right way and buy aftermarket arms and the correct lenght shocks. The top shock mount on both bikes are in different locations. The bottom mount on both bikes is in a different location. The a arm mounts are not the same.
  9. I just installed v3s in my R and noticed a good difference in the mid range to top end. Seems to be a little lean in the top. The bottom seems the same. I switched em out with pyramid reed set up that is supposed to be the bomb in low end throtle response. The banshee I ported out my self and put carbon tech reeds in. These were a big gain over stock and ran a little rich with that change.
  10. You get it at autozone its called 2T racing 2stroke oil. I mix it half pump half av gas.
  11. I used mobil for years. Tried amsoil that my bud insisted on. I used it for a year and did a top end and wasnt impressed at all. Look like I used some crap cheap oil. Exhaust ports were gummed up. Klotz and mobil 2T My internals were always clean.
  12. Wow what college do you attend? Seriously, saving money in a most inconvenient way is sometimes not always the best way. I put money in a can and write on the lid what the savings is for. This will help urges to draw from it and help only to put more into it. It is well worth the wait.
  13. How about saving your money in a coffee can and buy the right shocks.

    yfz shocks

When is some one going to do a thread on a banshee/450 engine, frame, or swing arm swap?
  15. Ah see the difference in the shock angle. The setup on the banshee has more leverage on the shock. More travel that way though.
  16. I seen a pick up today that had his tail gate replaced by a piece of wood. On it read "If you voted for Bush your an Asshole" First the guy was smart enough to use a piece of wood and not his own tail gate. Ill give him that. Well the truck looked like it could of been a newer toyota. The problem was it was damaged like it was vandalized. I seen different size puncture wounds all over it. One side had latex paint spread nicely. Two back windows cracked. Im wondering why he cant pin when the vandelizing started to when he put the sign in his truck.l
  17. I tried a -2 and didnt like it for woods racing. I seemed too short. Suspension was harsh and lost travel. Only thing I liked about it that turning was easier. I ended up buying a -1 from swingarm shop. I like it alot better.
  18. First race of the season in Orlando on my newly rebuilt AXIS shocks with synthetic fluid. Most difficult course I have ever seen. Almost 2 hours long. Got first place out of 22 riders. My bike was like a caddi in the rough.
  19. I think the DS650 shocks will work even better.
