  1. I'll make sure and let Gary know whats going on.....
  2. all i can say is....wow
  3. yep, im gonna agree about the paddles being off... i have been riding glamis for 3 years now, and so far the only thing that bothers me when my paddles are off is when you first start. you get that bouncing back and forth untill you get going. I usually run at 4-5psi with my 8 paddle haulers. during any given weekend they will line up a few times...the rest of the time they are somewhere in the middle. I agree that it does look much better when they are lined up.
  4. Got a new laptop and im online at Atlanta International airport. so thought i would just drop in and say hi. pretty cool to do this wirless thing... anyway, thats all
  5. I have PCd lowers (black) and chrome uppers. the PC holds up great. I do some desert riding and then ride the dunes the rest of the time. Good choice on the QS arms. they are awesome!
  6. Buying a shee in SoCal during the riding season you are gonna pay more than other places in the US. Shit Glamis is a big factor in that. I would say 3 grand for a stock 96 is a bit high. i paid 4k for my 96 shee but it already had alot of work done to it. PC'd frame, set of dune wheel/tires portwork, trued and welded crank, T5s, ricky stator lights and high output stator. dyna FS ignition and some other crap. i probably paid a bit too much but hey, i got a good bike and i knew the history of the machine. im sure you could find a nice shee with some mods for around 3,500 in SoCal this time of year
  7. Man, we had a blast. Got up there wednesday night around 7:30. did some night riding...i think we were just about the only ones there. The dunes on Thrusday and Friday were pristine...awesome duning, awesome weather. Saturday got a little busy, so we rolled out saturday afternoon....all in all it was an amazing dune trip!
  8. I think the brand is Carry-All or something like that. 6X12 rear loading ramp. gets 3 quads on it pretty easily.
  9. HAHA..yeah thats what taking about 1 minute in photo shop will get for ya!!
  10. Just a real quick PS job!
  11. I'll be in wash one. we are hoping to get up there late wednesday night and stay thru sunday. would be cool to hook up with you fellas!
  12. lower frame rail on the left side, just about right under the shifter...
  13. yep, this is about exactly what i would have said if i had the time! well said, and all true! Spend the extra money and get a Canon Digital Rebel (Digital SLR) nice cam. Thats my next digital cam right there!
  14. dont buy an HP...buy a camera from a company that actually makes cameras...not computers. Get a Cannon or an olympus...those are your two best bets!
  15. guess you should just be happy you are alive or not completley screwed up. I have lost a few family members to not wearing seat belts and being ejected from their cars during accidents....
  16. when i bought my dirtbike in Colorado i didnt get a title...i just used the bill of sale in Arizona and they produced a title... the MVD has a book that shows what states prepare title and what states dont. EDIT...the guy you are buying it from will most likley have to go title the bike in AZ and then sign the AZ title over to you. You will need a bill of sale from out of state for you to do the title yourself.
  17. I dont think that they do. i grew up there and dont remember ever having a title. I think you do have to register quads in NE now though...
  18. he already has mastered the power wheels quad...now its time for something with a real engine! I started on a Suzuki JR50 with training wheels when i was about 2.
  19. Hey guys, of those of you that have kids. When did you get them started on a quad, and what would you reccomend for a first bike? I looked a 70cc chinese made one today, but its a bit big for him right now. Ideally I would like to get him something he can ride now but grow into a little bit. Thanks!
  20. yep, i will be at Glamis Wash one for Halloween! cant wait to get the shee back in the sand where she belongs!
  21. canadian..... Hey BFS....why dont you put your location in so when you say shit like this they can figure it out for themselves?????
  22. you must not have been paying attention. the topic was discussed numerous times over the past few months!
  23. I was on Temporary Duty (TDY) to Taszar Hungary when the planes hit. We were on an exercies so when i left my wife in england i couldnt tell her where i was going. We had no phones and no internet to contact friends and family. So while all this was going on in the states i was stuck in Hungary. I heard about it on a radio after getting off a 14hr shift launching and recovering Aircraft for Combat Search and Rescue missions(CSAR). Needless to say, but after the planes hit we started a huge redeployment to get everybody and everything back to the bases they belonged too so they could deploy for OIF. We were playing with army special forces, and you know they were damn near the first ones in theater after the attacks.
  24. Yeah, this is correct. These people are the bottom of the barrel so to speak. And just like was mentioned earlier, they are spreading these people out all over the nation. I know Tucson is supposed to get like 1000 of these evacuees over the next couple days. They plan on enrolling the kids in the Tucson school system and help the others get jobs. But when they didn
