  2. I think i got a 120 link chain fro my +4 and i cut alot of links out....
  3. Since when do MALE (see above) chickens lay eggs from their asses?
  4. Stay away from the katana....buy an older CBR600F3 or a ZX-6R. Katanas are not only the fugliest bikes around, but they are slow. I think they are oil cooled as well. You could not GIVE me a katana---- Can-O-Tuna. haha Seriously get a couple year old CBR or ZX6-R you will be much happier, and people wont laugh at you as much!
  5. This little weasel Bastard faked his own death a while back. But im not sure what Bansheerage is talking about.
  6. Sounds Non-Destructive Inspections. Thats what the air force calls it. The use all sorts of Things to detect cracks. On of them is just like what you describe. They magnatize the part, then dunk it in a Green solution, then put it under black light to see the cracks http://137.240.249.5/ndi/Magnetic_Particle.htm
  7. Yeah, my brother waited about 5 years for his TS clearance. It can be a long wait. Good deal on the CDC, its a good feeling when you are done with that shit, and you can press on with the real training!
  8. Yeah, we found this the other night, and it got everyone a little fired up at work. What a complete jack ass. Does he understand that base pay in the military is just that. How long could all of you survive on 1,900 bucks a month. And then on top of that WE GET TAXED TOO YOU JACK ASS. I dont think he knows that military members pay taxes as well. We do get breaks when we are over in hostile areas. Would you go over there and leave your family at home! He is such a stupid ass hole, its almost unreal the things he thinks and believes. Anyway, here is his website so you can really get pissed off! http://www.forsakethetroops.net/
  9. i stood my shee up yesterday on the 6pak rack, and noticed that i was getting gear oil coming from the overflow that sits at the very back of the cases.
  10. haha...that was great...
  11. yeah, pull the choke assembly out and give it a good cleaning. there is a clip that lives in there that locks into the notches on the choke stem. If its still in good shape bend it back. If its toast, go buy a C-clip from ACE or Home Depot and bend it to fit. Mine works like a champ after the rebuild!
  12. Should have bought a noss head. I would ask for some money for repairs since it was obviously their mistake giving your the wrong domes.
  13. I have a 370 Long rod motor. No spacer. The rods are 5MM longer than stock and the blaster pistons have the wrist pin openings 5mm higherr than a banshee piston. same stroke length.
  14. The length of the STROKE is changed by altering where the rod connects to the Crank. Moving this point away from the center of the crank 2mm will give you a 4mm longer stroke.
  15. I like my +4 in the dunes alot. I still jump it, and have a blast riding thru the dunes. I didnt like duning on a stock width/lenght machine at all.
  16. yeah a long rod with the wrong pistons would do that. I have Blaster pistons in my long rod motor....
  17. Im not sure, the full flight description says they are set up for stock shocks. So unless your works shocks are longer, or full flight put the shock mount in the wrong place, im not sure. got any pics?
  18. What kind of A Arms did you get? Is the lower shock mount in the same location as the stock a Arm? Did you get Worcs shocks that were built for +2+1 Arms?
  19. No you dont need to mix fuels. If you were running high compression and advanced timing, then you would need it. But it sounds like you have basic mods. Also you will be running at 4000 feet, that will lower your compression some more. You might end up dropping down one main jet since you are going from 1k to 4k. you will just have to see how she sounds and feels! have fun
  20. Basiclly they work by putting a certain amount of torque on the torsion bar itself. As you crank on the bolt it adds more torque, pushing the lower a-arm down and raising the front of your truck. The new keys are indexed so basically when you have your stock ones cranked down and you look at the opening where the torsion bar fits in, the aftermarket ones opening will be in that position with the bolts in stock position....make any sense? as far as ride quality, i have heard that it makes the ride bouncy but i guess that depends on how much you raise your truck.
  21. Oil in the exhaust is not an indicatin of bad rings in a two stroke. The oil is burned along with the fuel. Could be very rich jetting. Does it bog off idle??
  22. Do it, you will get about 1 to 1.5" with the stock torsion keys. I really have not noticed a big differance in the ride quality either.
  23. pull your carb boot and check your reeds. Also while you have the carbs off check the floats in both carbs. If they get bent they can hang up and fuel will just keep pouring into the carb bowls.
  24. HaHA there is some funny shit on there. It has to be a joke, its just so stupid!
  25. yeah, i made my own as well!!
