I had coolant spraying out only at high temps...when it idle'd no leaks....but in 4th 5th and 6th....it would start spraying out. Come to find out....after hoses, clamps and a new radiatior....is the O-ring in between the cases was bad. Replaced it, and the water pump seal.....No more overheating......No more spraying.

All I gotta say is Banshee = 6 gears.

I was overheating only at high RPM's.....after changing everything....including the Radiator....Come to find out it was the O ring in between the cases. It was shooting water out at high pressure and causeing it to overheat. FYI

Never use the local Stealer....They will ripp you off time and again. Someone will have the stuff your looking for. Try ebay! They always have a bunch of misc parts lots on there......who cares if you get some stuff you dont want....turn around and sell it.

dont let the protection bother you....unless of course you hit some serious water. I just take it easy through the water and its not a problem. But sometimes I get sick of goin slow....I punch it through streams. Only twice in the 6 years that Ive been riding....has my engine bogged due to water on the filter. And I hit streams on every ride......unless of course Im at glamis or sand mountain. The only con is the weight of the carbs. Ive heard of them coming off. If I was gonna do it, I would want some kind of support under them. I just "Monster Garaged" mine. Using a saber saw, I cut away the box, just leaving the front on it....where the K&N attaches. Then I cut out the water bottle holder...cause your gonna need it. Unless your getting rid of the bottle all together. So, my K&N has all the support it needs and is getting all that extra air. I guess you can just ixnay the bottle and run the line down the radiator. I havent done it....cause my shee overheats and needs that water....but some ppl do it. Also, if I just ran dunes with me shee I would change to clamp-ons. Too many washboard trails here in Cali.

Ok I know this is gonna be tough....but ya never know. I had a drunk buddy run into me last weekend and he ripped the left side right off the brakets and pushed it straight into my frame, petcock, and a-arm bolts. Nice huh. So, I had a gorgeous set of pipes....no longer. Now Im in need of a new or used left side Toomey T-5. Let me know what you got. If the price is right I just might buy a set.

It took me a few wrecks to figure out how to ride too. Now I ride harder and better than ever before. Thanks to a hard breakin period. This is what Ive broke..... Pelvis..On a roll over. Wrist..Ridin the dunes...didnt see a 6ft razorback....and Indoed Hand..landed with just my fingers on the bars while jumping....bent my hand all the way back and snaped some of the chicken bones in there. Ankle..Damn Dunes....lol. Slipped off jumpin...landed funny....thats all I remember...lol. I probably have brused or bent every other part on my body....lol. All seperate rides..... Gotta love ridin......

I have a vette engine in my shee.....280 HP..... Shee even comes with a handlebar airbag....

You need two sets.....a set of ITP XCT's for the sand and only the sand....and a set of ITP XC's for everyting else. A sick set of fresh knobbies will get you anywhere in the sand and mud. Once the tires go bald....doesnt matter what or where your runnin....

I just had my stock 97 rear rebuilt by TCS. Oil and seal for 100 bux. not bad considering I had it back in under a week. Todd is the owner, cool guy, and he did a great job. No more SwampAss for me.

Cool man. I wasnt holding the gas on at all....And now Im home in sacramento....so Im at sea level. And I was doing it way warm. So my fingers are crossed that it will go up. I doubt it though. She is a '97 and has been ran pretty hard the last few years (Im finally starting to ride her the way she is sapposed to be ridden) Nice....Sounds easier than it is....Im sure. But Im all over it. I will be getting the funds together next week. I will run another compression test tonight...just as stated. Thanks

I was running stock shocks for the last 5 years. I just upgraded to WORKS Duel Rates, and I now have a handleing dream. Talk about a night and day difference......They are great.

Me and my buddies all run AC pro peg nerfs. And I have to say that the AC's saved my friends life. He hit a pole with the right front A-Arm....took off the right side of the bumper...sheered off the a-arms...bolts and bushings were still on the frame. the tire and the rest of the stuff were hangin on by the brake line. Anyway, the pole hit the nerf bar and ricoched him off. You should see it....totally bent in....but didnt touch him or the peg. AC's for life for me. I have a pic somewhere.....lol. He didnt have a scratch on him.

That would be killer.....Where should I send it too? My shee is down for a few weeks right now...due to a smashed pipe and a much needed top end job. That would be awesome....thanks man.
