  1. Does anyone even remember what the old forum looked like? Am I the only one that can't remember anything about the old forum?
  2. All I can say is bring a ton of bug spray. There were a ton of mosquitos up there when I went up to Colorado last summer. Also, you might want to invest in some sort of high flow filter for the hauler if you can. It's not really the grades in the roads between the mountains as much as it is the altitude.
  3. If your ball joints are bad replace them before you get hurt. I had a ball joint come out of the spindle when I was jumping my shee and I nearly went over the bars. I was lucky that it was a small jump. I also heard that someone had a major wreck at little sahara oklahoma recently when the guy was drag racing. He was in 5th gear when his lower ball joint came loose and his shee just started cartwheeling. The guy was alright though. He had a helmet on.
  4. fast trekkers own, but I think titan quit making them. blackwaters are good on anything loose enough for the lugs to dig in. holeshots and razors are good all around but they will leave you wanting more traction in the slick stuff. blackwaters will last the longest out of all the tires I mentioned.
  5. there is always something stupid to read over there.
  6. the exact same shit happend to my shee about two months ago. the rod bearing went out on the left side. I just went ahead and replaced the crank. I figured that the crank I had in was the original 87 which was the main reason I replaced it besides the face that it needed a new rod and bearing. My top end wasn't as bad as your's though. I ended up honing the cylinders and running the same pistons as before.
  7. bad ass man. I might sell my clymer manual soon if you keep this up.
  8. holy shit this thread is funny.
  9. If people want to smoke cigarettes let them. It's not like it doesn't say right on the carton that cigarettes can cause lung cancer. As far as the 12000 or whatever number of mothers dieing every year, it is not the tobacco company's fault the moms that smoked died. Do the tobacco companies force people to smoke? f*ck no they didn't. The whole truth comercial crap is a bunch of bullshit.
  10. sell the pos car and buy a pos truck. even if the truck is a pos it will still get your shee from place to place.
  11. I'm sorry, I don't remember anyone by the name of Gargamel. Either way welcome to bansheehq Gargamel. What's one more newb. J/K
  12. BURN! (in my most kelso like voice)
  13. this shit's funny. keep the bashing going.
  14. thats about how mine looks. so I guess mine is about a plus 4 or 5. sredish no offense taken. stator is the only thing that popped in my mind when I started this post even though I know that the stator is the round thing behind the flywheel.
  15. what is the price for the la sleeve mono block? I kinda like the idea of having one block instead of two seperate cylinders.
  16. When I tore apart my shee to put in some new seals, I noticed that my stator was already modified. It doesn't look like you could get much of a timing advance out of it. How much do you think you could get out of a stock stator? It really looks like you could only get a few at the most.
  17. 28mm carbs and maybe some cpi inframes.
  18. All I can say is holy shit.
  19. It's not the governments fault for not enforcing the helmet laws. I think that the parents are the ones to blame for what there kid does on an atv. Rollover protection is flat out stupid and the women that wrote the article has probably never ridden an atv. She is probably some hippie liberal doushe that thinks she is doing God's work by banning atvs.
  20. I made a list of what I need and want for my shee to make it a dream ride for me. Some of this stuff is needed and some of it is just stuff I want. 1. Crank seals $20 2. Shift drum $20 3. Frame $275 shipped hopefully 4. port work $200 5. used coolhead-noss head $150 hopefully 6. extra set of stock rims $100 7. used works or yfz450 front shocks $200 8. 28mm carbs with throttle cable $200 9. upgrade to t-5's, t-3's, or fmf hih revs and sell current pipes to recover some cash $50 I'm getting a job in two weeks so hopefully I can manage to get all this stuff before the end of summer. I currently have $140. All I really need to ride it is the new seals but it doesn't like to shift from 6th to 5th and the shift drum didn't look good last time I dug into the motor so I guess I'm going to replace it when I put in the new seals.
  21. shift drum $?
  22. I would definitly ride a quadzilla if there was no banshee. If there weren't any two stroke quads, I would be riding a ds650.
  23. I watched the races on espn2 today. Stewart is unstopable. He took first in both motos and looked faster than half the 250 class riders. Carmicheal is just as unstopable as Stewart in the 250 class. Carmicheal could win on any bike, two or four stroke. I think Reed would be faster on his yz250 that he won the supercross title on. He seems to ride the two stroke more aggressivly than the 450 that he is riding outdoors. That track got rough quick. I wanna try riding southwick. I looks like it would be a blast on four wheels since the track is so sandy.
  24. I'd bet that 33% of the shee owners over there are incompetent. We could use some banshee owners that don't sound flat out stupid.
  25. the pathetic attempt to stop the two strokes from joining
