I'll probably find a used one on ebay. How much do the noss heads cost for banshee hq'ers?

how much of a performance gain can I expect from porting the cages on a relatively stock motor?

I would look for a crank on ebay. You could probably find one on there for sixty bucks. As far as the piston goes, I would give vitos a call or check ebay for one as well. I see piston kits sell on ebay for pretty cheap.

I found an rz head on ebay for pretty cheap and I was wondering if it would bolt on without a problem and if it would cool better than the stock banshee head. The water jackets are alot bigger on the rz head and i figured if it worked half as good as a cool head it was worth atleast 50 bucks. Anyone got an opinion?

can someone just tell me if most piped banshees can pull sixth in the sand?

My trakker paddles aren't cuttin it anymore. They don't hook up good enough until the top of third gear. I want a paddle tire that will alow me to launch in second gear without bogging and a tire that will let me pull sixth in the straights. Can most piped shee's pull sixth in the sand without bogging? My gearing is 13/41 and my shee would barley pull sixth in the sand with the trakkers. Is the performance of my shee off. It has 165 psi compression at sea level and it is jetted with 300 mains. Can somebody help? btw: I only weigh 145 lbs.

come to think of it, my banshee must be pretty weak. i was getting beat by a stock raptor on the race that my shee crapped out. I cant believe that the 450r was stock. I read the baffle off the exhaust and it said for closed coarse racing only so I just assumed that it was an hrc honda. I wonder if I was under paddled or if my shee was just not running that good? I was running some kenda trakker v paddles. They seemed as heavy as my 20in 4 ply shredders that I use for dirt. It was wierd. I couldnt start in second either. earlier that day I didnt have any problems starting in second. maybe the sand was just really soft there from repeated drag races. Either way, i'll be back in october. And we probably wont stay at that hotel again. that place was a hell hole for $60 dollars a night. we will probably stay in the new best western in alva next time.

I just thought of another good one. The one when they try to run up the hill and dodge the boulders. funny shit

my favorite one is when they run through the walls and they hit a wall that they cant run through. They lead with their shoulders and get crushed. Another good one is when they swing from the rope and try to stick to the wall. I love that show.

piped zillas are really loud indeed. I heard one the other day and it made my shee seem quiet.

what color are the springs?

It will start to not run right. In my case, the top ring on my left piston fused to the piston.

If you haven't seen the pics of my shee and my messed up face go to the images section and check them out. It was only there for 2 hours before I crashed. I was drag racing a piped raptor in the flat area at the entrance to the sand. I dragged for about 400 feet or so and I didn't slow down in time. I should of had my helmet on. I ran into one of the holes in the ground around a tree that people drive in. I won the race though. I went to the next town over, Alva, and got eight stitches and antibiotics. Then I went to the hotel room after my trip to the E.R. and slept through the night. I woke up the next morning to find my lip not hurting enough to keep me out of the sand. My mom told me that she didn't spend nine hours driving to see me sit in a hotel room all day. We went out riding after my mom and step dad ate breakfast at millers and had a full day of duning ahead of us after we found a new tie rod at jims atv parts. I was amazed that they had the part in stock. Jim was a nice guy and told me that I was lucky that a messed up lip was all I had. We drove through the dunes all day and did some drag racing at night. There was a stock raptor, a pack of piped and who knows what else banshees, a 450r with the hrc kit, a tired quadzilla that needed a rebuild, and some fast 250rs. I was very impressed with that 450r. I always beat everything off the line. The piped banshees always reeled it by around the 150 ft mark though. There were some 250rs that made the quadzilla look like an lt250r. It was sad but that lt500 was tired. I took like 10 kicks for that thing to start. I got into some drag racing and held my own, but I didn't let it cool off between races and it needs some new rings. Apperantly I need a new crank to by the looks of it now. I just took the cylinders off and the pistons seem fine, and so does the bore but the top ring on my left piston is stuck in place, and the left rod doesn't pivot as smooth as it should. Oh well.

went over the handlebars and my grab bar hit my chin and lip. My top teeth went through my lip and I got eight stitches. That one hurt. Also I hit this kid on a lakota sport that slammed his brakes when I was about to pass him. I went over the bars and got some road rash on my ankle. I should have kicked the little basterds ass but he was hurting too so I decided not to. Two crashes in 3 months.

I messed up my frame too when I crashed. My left front wheel is about a half inch back from where it should be. I don't think it is worth the cost of a new frame though. If I ever see a frame for 100 bucks though I'd probably buy it.

couldn't you just make some hooks for the cylinders so that you could use pipe springs to hold the pipes in place?
