  1. Mmmmm Titanium. May be interested in the bolts.
  2. Also, you would probably need a custom ignition curve to trail ride a bigger motor. I won't pretend to know what that curve is. I don't even have a custom curve on the drag motors, even though I know OEM with a plate is not optimal.
  3. Keep the stroke short to keep piston speed down. I'd say 10 mil max. But on the bore size, the bigger the bore, the more the intake wears into the piston. I run my bigger drag bikes the very minimum number of passes to get them dialed in. The smaller Cubs, I've ran the crap out of. This is not trail riding, but may give you an idea.
  4. There is a certain amount of pride and accomplishment in a "ground up build" but it will in no way be a budget build. I've done several of them and they aren't worth half what I have in them.
  5. I may be interested, but want to know if the reeds will work n/a if I run without the bottle too.
  6. 30 pilot is probably too big. Like said, turn the air screws out and if it gets better the pilot is too big. If you don't need to use the choke to start it generally the pilot or air screws are too rich. Yes to the question about all circuits contributing to fuel delivery at WOT, the the air screw and pilot being minimal.
  7. Will the reeds work on n/a as well?
  8. USA Today had a big article about how much PR is in debt and raising all kinds of taxes. Wouldn't surprise me if they were taxing the bikes transportation.
  9. I can send you pics of a couple choices tomorrow.
  10. Anybody have these?
  11. If you have any references I'd buy that in a second.
  12. Whats the compression? Did you do a leak down test?
  13. Weld a flywheel puller to it is the only way I know of. Someone else may have a better idea.
  14. It was the first.
  15. I have a 24 Mil Sniper on Spongebob Chassis. Has ran 3.5s. It's over 850 cc. I forget the exact size. Was an 844 but I had it bored last rebuild. Billet tranny, Matoon lockup and 10 - 12 plate basket. $12,500. Those aren't my pipes on it and they guy won't sell them. It'll come with Jaws pipes tech support included, but it's tuned and ready to run right now with the RDZ Huge Bore pipes that are on it. It has a second gear problem, but gonna get that fixed anyway. (Just had the same problem on the Scimitar, and it's fixed now).
  16. Precision Power Sports can rebuild also. They did 2 of mine last year.
  17. I think he's from the Jackson, MS area I think. Several threads about him out there.
  18. It was worth it! Need to get links to the video up. I was the only one that didn't record it.
  19. If they're not off the shelf you'll need to give the specs that you want. Squish band and step dimensions.
  20. You don't even have to have the yellow and black wires hooked up for it to run, so I'd imagine you wouldn't need them to test the primary coil either. I've seen them test all over the place and still work, but you know if you have a waaaay off number that is toast. Is it Oem?
  21. If you hold the piston and run a 10 mm or whatever deep well socket In there and gently tap it it comes right out. Holding the piston will keep the rod from moving much. I've done this 50 times.
  22. I obviously don't have a clue on how to work on these motors. If you just hit the impact in short bursts it won't put nearly as much stress on the rods as actually running the motor. But whatever.
