  4. I made a bracket out of aluminum to mount mine just behind the radiator on the left side of the bike, re routed the hoses accordingly, not hard to do. Dunedemon.
  5. Powder coating does not affect the metalergy (molecular properties of the steel) and typically the temperatures are under 400 deg. F.(not hot enough to re-temper quality grades of steel) Chrome on the other hand is done with electrolisis and can induce "hydrogen embritlement" releasing of the hydrogen molecules from the material being chromed, leads to brittle steel depending upon the composition ( chromeoly, chrome silicon, chrome vanadium, etc..) Bottom line = powder coating is good if done correctly, Chrome is dangerous at best depending on the properties of the material being used. Dunedemon.

  12. Installation is a snap, you'll need a new-longer chain, or more links for your existing one, may need a longer rear brake line, inspect your swing arm bearings / seals, and shock linkage, and you'll need a new rear spring ( an increase in spring rate to compensate for the longer swing arm). Dunedemon.
  13. Use some steel wool and glass cleaner, takes the crap right off, DO NOT use a scotchbrite pad, it will scratch the chrome. Dunedemon.

  21. I got one from "Warp Drive Performance" looks like a meat thermometer welded into a 2" long section of pipe (my poor explination does not do it justice) you simply install it in line in the upper radiator hose on the right hand side of the bike, the guage is visible through the upper plastic "cut out" price was around $25 and it works well, easily visible when riding the bike. I'll see if I can find a picture to post. Dunedemon.

Get rid of the cluster by removing the entire parking brake assembly, get a block off plate for the rear caliper, and step-up to the best clutch perch / lever in existince "RTC" levers this is the "Pro Pull" version, needle bearing quick adjust, 2 position cable mount.
