Here is some interesting insight on varying philisophical ideologies: Scientism is an ideology grounded on the assumption that facts can be distinguished from values. Facts, it is claimed, are derived from the scientific method, whereas values are the products of uncritical human constructions (opinions) such as religion, tradition , or prejudice. The fact/value distinction assumes that reality can be known by fragmenting its parts from the universal whole. Once separated from the whole and viewed as objects, facts are classified as empirical knowledge. According to the tenets of scientism, if human reason is liberated from the constraints of values and properly grounded in scientific method, it is capable of discovering empirical truths instrumental not only to material progress, but to political and social advancement. Such progress is therefore predicated on the belief that the scientific method provides a universal standard for the discovery of truth. Scientifically derived truth, then, provides a body of knowledge that forms the foundation of political and social consensus. All humans are assumed to be rational and equally capable of both employing the scientific method and understanding the knowledge that results from its use. In this scheme, conflict in human society is caused by mere differences of opinion; a confrontation of values rather than facts. The scientific method eliminates such conflicts because it provides a "scientific" understanding of reality on which rational individuals agree. Once the scientific method is widely utilized, differences of opinion , and the corresponding political and social conflict that is caused by them, wither away. Disagreement and conflict disappear in the same way as they do among mathematicians who present mathematical proofs. Given an accepted body of mathematical principles and methods, the proof either works or fails. In the process of discovering mathematical truth, there is no place for opinion or subjective judgment. The structure of mathematical reality, represented by its principles and laws. is fixed. Erroneous application of principle is possible, but that is not the same as an opinion that causes disagreement. Once the truth or failure of the proof is established, there is no legitimate basis for disagreement. Although the methodological approach may be appropriate for mathematics and the mathematical sciences, its application to the human sciences has been the subject of intense debate. Francis Bacon, Thomas Hobbes, and Rene Descartes influenced the early development of positivism in important ways. Bacon advocated the scientific method as the foundation for a new civilization. Proper use of the scientific method would purge the mind of personal unscientific influences and lead to the acquisition of knowledge. Bacon provided much of the theoretical foundation for the scientific revolution. Its social and political implications, while recognized by Bacon, were more explicitly developed by Hobbes and such later positivists as Saint-Simon and Auguste Comte. The common ideological thread of the positivist movement is belief that the scientific method will lead to human domination of nature and that subsequent social, political, and economic transformation is inevitable. Yet the historical development of positivism was more complex. As developing positivism fueled industrialization, material progress occurred, but the anticipated social and moral improvement was illusive. A key cause of the lack of moral progress was illusive. A key cause of the lack of moral progress was positivism

You wouldn't know the Holy Spirit if it slapped you in the face Dave. Send me an email if you wish to continue [email protected] And in case you weren't aware, everytime you are one upped, which has been frequently in this thread, you resort to childish and derogatory comments. You think that you are so much smarter than everyone else, but I would not hesitate to match my intellect and wit with you any day of the week. Besides that, I'm better looking and my banshee is way faster than yours. Want to arm wrestle?

I already told you Dave, that amazingly we went at it EXACTLY 50days, from March 27th which was Easter (which you tried to speak against) until May 16th which is the last time that the Holy Spirit moved in this thread IMO. On the Pentecost after the resurrection of Jesus (50 days from the Passover in which He was crucified), the Holy Spirit, according to the Acts of the Apostles, descended on the disciples and gave them the power of speaking in such a way that people of different languages could understand them. For me, that says that it is over. The ministry of the Gospel to the Gentiles has been accomplished through the Holy Spirit by virtue of our dichotomy. Good job Dave.

Cudaz, I don't understand guys like you. What bugs you so much, the topic title, because that is all that you are subjected to. If you decide the thread is not for you, then don't look back in on it. Seems like common sense to me.

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope. through the power of the Holy Ghost. And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another. Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, becuause of the grace that is given to me of God. That I should be the minister of Jesus Christ to the Gentiles, ministering the gospel of God, that the offering up of the Gentiles might be acceptable. being sanctified by the Holy Ghost. I have therefore whereof I may glory through Jesus Christ in those things which pertain to God For I will not dare to speak of any of those things which Christ hath not wrought by me to make the Gentiles obedient. by word and deed, Through mighty signs and wonders, by the power of the Spirit of God; so that from Jerusalem and round about unto illyricum, I have fully preached the gospel of Christ.

Better is the poor that walketh in his integrity, than he that is perverse in his lips, and is a fool. Also, that the soul be without knowledge, it is not good; and he that hasteth with his feet sinneth. The foolishness of man perverteth his way: and his heart fretteth against the LORD. Wealth maketh many friends; but the poor is separated from his neighbour. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall not escape. Many will intreat the favour of the prince: and every man is a friend to him that giveth gifts. All the brethren of the poor do hate him: how much more do his freinds go far from him? he pursueth them with words, yet they are wanting to him. He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good. A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish. Delight is not seemly for a fool; much less for a servant to have rule over princes. The discretion of a man deferreth his anger; and it is his glory to pass over a transgression. The king;s wrath is as the roaring of a lion; but his favour is as dew upon the grass. A foolish son is the calamity of his father: and the contentions of a wife are a continual dropping. House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is fron the LORD. Slothfulness casteth into a deep sleep; and and idle sould shall suffer hunger. He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die. He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the LORD; and that which he hath given will he pay him again. Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spar for his crying. A man of great wrath shall suffer punishment: for if thou deliver him, yet thou must do it again. Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou myayest be wise in thy latter end. There are many devices in a mans heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand. The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar. The fear of the LORD tendeth to life: and he that hath it shall abide satisfied; he shall not be visited with evil. A slothful man hideth his hand inhis bosom, and will not so much as bring it to his mouth again. Smite a scorner, and the simple will beware. : and reprove one that hathe understanding, and he will understand knowledge. He that wasteth his father, and chaseth away his mother, is a son that cuaseth shame, and bringeth reproach. Cease, my son, to hear the instruction that causeth to err from the words of knowledge. An ungodly witness scorneth judgment: and the mouth of the wicked devoureth iniquity. Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools.

Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes and prudent in their own sight! Besides the fact that you have been more than soundly refuted by scripture, another proof that you ARE the blind leading the blind, is your oblivious nature. If I were in your shoes, I would be very cognicent of the admonishment of the Holy Spirit and I would be very very humble, because I AM a child of God. This will mean nothing to you, because the TRUTH is not in you, but once again I am in awe of the ease to which I am led to the Christian defense. I opened right to this: Acts 1:3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them 40 days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God. The passion...Passover...some call it Easter and still keep Jesus in their heart. I just looked back in this thread 40days, and in my opinion, that is right when the Holy Ghost started to turn on you Dave. RJ hasn't posted for a week...since May 9th, but as I remember, he was turned on against you sooner than I was . Can't say for sure but I think that God may be through with you. Oh, by the way, I HAVE tearfully repented numerous times as this thread has gone along and I HAVE confessed and commited to a change because I AM NOT prudent in my own sight!

Encyclopedia.com Home > article [Click here to print this article.] God Section: Names for God Related: Greek Religions In the Old Testament various names for God are used. YHWH is the most celebrated of these; the Hebrews considered the name ineffable and, in reading, substituted the name Adonai [my Lord]. The ineffable name, or tetragrammaton [Gr.,=four-letter form], is of unknown origin; the reconstruction Jehovah was based on a mistake, and the form Yahweh is not now regarded as reliable. The name Jah occurring in names such as Elijah is a form of YHWH. The most common name for God in the Old Testament is Elohim, a plural form, but used as a singular when speaking of God. The name El, not connected with Elohim, is also used, especially in proper names, e.g., Elijah. The name Shaddai, used with other words and in names (e.g., Zurishaddai ), appears rarely. Of these names only Adonai has a satisfactory etymology. It is generally not possible to tell from English translations of the Bible what was the exact form of the name of God in the original. In Islam, the name of God is Allah . Thats what it says Dave. I didn't write it. Check it yourself . Notice Jesus is not listed. That's because no Christian with the truth would say that Jesus was God. Jesus was endowed with the Holy Spirit through Divine intervention and therefore lived a perfect life of God's will becuase God so loved the world that he essentially put forth a test for mankind and he that seeks him shall be saved. HE is the TRUTH. The Holy Spirit is still alive and he who accurately stands on the word of God with faith can be filled with it. As I said, you cast of the Holy Spirit when (not if) you sin again. However, the Holy Spirit still has the key to heart and you are saved (delivered) as long as you don't change the lock. Anyway, no hard feelings, I haven't been stumbled in the least, and I hope that you haven't either. If you have been, that's what you get for coming in this thread and trying to stumble us Christians. The very short history of your religion is wrought with inconsistancies and false prophecy. I can elaborate on that if you wish. Encyclopedia.com Home > article [Click here to print this article.] God Section: Arguments for God's Existence Related: Greek Religions There are several famous arguments for the existence of God. The argument from the First Cause maintains that since in the world every effect has its cause behind it (and every actuality its potentiality), the first effect (and first actuality) in the world must have had its cause (and potentiality), which was in itself both cause and effect (and potentiality and actuality), i.e., God. The cosmological argument maintains that since the world, and all that is in it, seems to have no necessary or absolute (nonrelative) existence, an independent existence (God) must be implied for the world as the explanation of its relations. The teleological argument maintains that, since from a comprehensive view of nature and the world everything seems to exist according to a certain great plan, a planner (God) must be postulated. The ontological argument maintains that since the human conception of God is the highest conception humanly possible and since the highest conception humanly possible must have existence as one attribute, God must exist. Immanuel Kant believed that he refuted these arguments by showing that existence is no part of the content of an idea. This principle has become very important in contemporary philosophy, particularly in existentialism. The consensus among theologians is that the existence of God must in some way be accepted on faith. Examine the ancient prophecies (respecting Christ and there fulfilment) and historical evidence and then grab a Bible. If you don't already belong to a church, you don't need to. Read and search for meaning on your own. Later you may wish to seek fellowship with others who have found the same truths as you, or you may choose to maintain a private relationship with God . You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You want to know what the price is for "everything to gain"? A GREAT DEBT OF GRATITUDE. So uhhhhh, anyway...here's my banshee

*The Jehovah's Witnesses was begun by Charles Taze Russell in 1872. He was born on February 16, 1852, the son of Joseph L. and Anna Eliza Russell. He had great difficulty in dealing with the doctrine of eternal hell fire and in his studies came to deny not only eternal punishment, but also the Trinity, and the deity of Christ and the Holy Spirit. When Russell was 18, he organized a Bible class in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 1879 he sought to popularize his aberrant ideas on doctrine. He co-published The Herald of the Morning magazine with its founder, N. H. Barbour and by 1884 Russell controlled the publication and renamed it The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah's Kingdom, and founded Zion's Watch Tower Tract Society (now known as the Watch Tower Bible and Tract Society). The first edition of The Watchtower magazine was only 6,000 copies each month. Today the Witnesses' publishing complex in Brooklyn, New York, churns out 100,000 books and 800,000 copies of its two magazines--daily! Russell claimed that the Bible could be only understood according to his interpretations. A dangerous arrangement since he controlled what was written in the Watchtower magazine. This kind of assertion is typical among leaders of cult religions. After the death of Russell on Oct. 31, 1916, a Missouri lawyer named Joseph Franklin Rutherford took over the presidency of the Watch Tower Society which was known then as the International Bible Students Association. In 1931 he changed the name of the organization to "The Jehovah's Witnesses." After Rutherford's death, Nathan Knorr took over. After Knorr, Frederick William Franz became president. The Society was led by Mr. Henschel who died in 2003. The group has over 4 million members world wide. The Watchtower Society statistics indicate that 740 house calls are required to recruit each of the nearly 200,000 new members who join every year. The Jehovah's Witnesses have several

2 Corinthians 13 1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. 2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which heretofore have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare: 3 Since ye seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which to you-ward is not weak, but is mighty in you. 4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he liveth by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you. 5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?6 But I trust that ye shall know that we are not reprobates. 7 Now I pray to God that ye do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that ye should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates. 8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth. 9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and ye are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection. 10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord hath given me to edification, and not to destruction. 11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love and peace shall be with you. 12 Greet one another with an holy kiss. 13 All the saints salute you.14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. *Is the Jehovah's Witness religion Christian? The answer to the question is, "No. It is not Christian." Like all non-Christian cults, the Jehovah's Witness organization distorts the essential doctrines of Christianity. The Bible itself reveals those doctrines that are essential to the Christian faith. They are 1) the Deity of Christ, 2) Salvation by Grace, and 3) Resurrection of Christ, and the gospel. These are the doctrines the Bible says are necessary. Though there are many other important doctrines, these three are the only ones that are declared by Scripture to be essential. A non-regenerate person, or a cultist (i.e., Mormon or Jehovah's Witness), will deny one or more of these essential doctrines. Jehovah witnesses deny the deity of Christ, His physical resurrection, and salvation by grace. This alone makes it non-Christian. To support its erring doctrines, the Watchtower organization (which is the author and teacher of all official Jehovah's Witness theology), has even altered the Bible to make it agree with its changing and non-Christian teachings. Typical with cults that use the Bible to support its position is a host of interpretive errors: * Taking verses out of their immediate context. * Refusing to read verses in the entire biblical context. * Inserting their theological presuppositions into the text. * Altering the Biblical text to suit their needs. * Latching onto one verse to interpret a host of others. * Changing the meanings of words. * Proclaiming some passages to be figurative when they contradict their doctrines. * Adding to the Word of God. As a Jehovah's Witness you have been taught from the Bible and the Watchtower organization. You

I will praise thee O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence. For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right. Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever. O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them. But the Lord shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment. And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness. The Lord also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble. And they that know thy name will put thier trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. Sing praises to the Lord, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings. When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble. Have mercy upon me, O Lord; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death: That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation. The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken. The Lord is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah. The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever. Arise, O Lord. let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight. Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

Like I said Dave, I already addressed all of your questions that warranted an answer...they are on the previous page and are very succinct and too the point. My concerns are a little about you but more about those whom you will corrupt in your encounters. Nevertheless, for understandable yet unfortunate reasons, you are not receptive to the Holy Spirit. The bottom line is that you DO NOT preach the gospel of Christ, and for that the Bible says that you will have no excuse come judgement day since you have been given fair opportunity to repent, which you have never done, since you had to ask about the emotional response associated with TRUE repentance. It was interesting insight when you said that you dedicated yourself to research, some time ago, in an effort to essentially take Christ down a notch instead of lifting him up as the Bible says that you should do. Anyway, good luck with your deeds sinner. RJ we have (you especially) done God's work, planted the seed where it could be fertily received. I am confident that his sheeps clothing has been stripped away. I propose that we stop here and no longer dignify him with a response and allow him to crawl around naked on his belly before us all for as long as he so chooses. I will continue to pray for him but his revileings are counterproductive at this point. Please pm me if you feel otherwise. The floors all yours Dave but I am CERTAIN everyone is tired of hearing your ramblings. Take a good long look in the mirror Dave.

I already answered the questions that warranted a response Dave and yes, this is where we are at now: Through the Holy Spirit, the witnesses for God and Christ are admonishing YOU Dave, or did you forget: Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. This is another "deceitful matter that you have devised". Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause. For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land. Yeah, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it. This thou hast seen, O Lord keep not silence: Lord, be not far from me. Stir up thyself and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord. Judge me O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me. Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up. Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishounour that magnify themselves against me. Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the posperity of his servant. And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

Yeah, there they are Dave...1,2,3,4,5... #1 RJ preaches the gospel of Christ from his Bible Dave. #2 The Bible shows that the ministry of Christ cannot be accomplished through the doctrine of law. Once a person has been saved, the Holy Spirit will guide them, as long as that person is justified by the word of God. You do cast off the Holy Spirit when you sin again (not if) but the Holy Spirit still has the key to your heart. Therefore you should obviously strive to continue to walk in the Spirit and further your fellowship with God. #3 Anything that I said that gave insight to punishment was straight from the Bible, and I won't try to interpret it for you further that what is written for I don't know. #4 Yes, if you TRULY repent, it WILL BE emotional. #5 Hitler was NEVER led by the Holy Spirit Dave, why do you think he was? John 14: 12-21 12Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; becuase I go unto my Father. 13And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. 15If ye love me, keep my commandments. 16And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you. 18I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you. 19Yet a little while, and the world seeth me no more: but ye see me: becuase I live, ye shall live also. 20At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. 21He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him. These are the works that I am doing as I try to reach out to you even still Dave. The commandments of Jesus are not the same as the commandments of Moses Dave. For the law came by Moses but grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ. The commandments of Christ IS THE GOSPEL. Moses was forsaken by God. "That day" when the world seeth him no more came when your blasphemy entered the Easter thread, and then I knew that He was in me, and has been ever since that day when I was saved as a child, for I always kept my faith. I have been led to many passages that have justified my life since that day but those details are between me and God and I will never dishonor God in the name of Christ but I will just say that I am where I need to be, when I need to be there. You are the one with the "philosophies of the world" Dave. O God, give us a better understanding of our fellow men. May we have the proper regard for each other. Give us patience to walk in unity with each other. In the name of Jesus our Lord. Amen. O Father, may we be endued with that love which is patient and kind. Take away from us all jealousy and rudeness. Cleanse our minds of selfishness. Give us a spirit of gladness which shall help us to bring gladness to others. In thy name. Amen. O God, help us to be responsive to Thy will. Our hearts are so full of the many things that crowd out those of real worth. Open our eyes that we may see, our ears that we may hear, and our lips that we may speak for Thee. May Thy spirit touch a responsiveness in our lives. Amen. -------------------- Romans 2:24 yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged. AMEN.

Mathew 5: 16-26 16Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. 17Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. 18For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. 19Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven. 21Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment: 22But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire (I never called you a fool ). 23Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee; 24Leave there thy gift before the altar, and go thy way; first be reconciled to thy brother, and then come and offer thy gift. 25Agree with thine adversary quickly, whiles thou art in the way with him; lest at any time the adversary deliver thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and thou be cast into prison. 26Verily I say unto thee, Thou shalt by no means come out thence, till thou hast paid the uttermost farthing. You are right to honor your commitment to God by the letter of the law, to the best of your humble ability Holyman, but your teachings should be ONLY by example, for the Bible says that you should believe and preach the gospel of Christ. Then you will be justified, for the Bible says it is your tongue that makes you or breaks you. Then will you be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Preaching the law instead of the gospel, I believe, is the trickery of the wicked one. They are the wolf in sheeps clothing. The Holy Spirit will never reach someone who is admonished of the law before receiving the Holy Spirit. Help them to receive the gift first. In Jesus name, Amen. P.S. the bible says that it is much much easier for a young child to receive Gods gift, for their hearts are much more pure and much less jaded. Send your kids to Sunday school. It did me nothing but good, and I'm still cool .

So you admit (you don't have to, it's evident) that you DO NOT preach the gospel of Christ even though Christ said: "The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel." Matthew15:8,9 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoreth me with their lips: but their heart is far from me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. SO WHAT SAY YOU TO THIS: Deuteronomy 19:15 One witness shall not rise up against a man for any iniquity, or for any sin, in any sin that he sinneth: at the mouth of two witnesses, or at the mouth of three witnesses, shall the matter be established. Well, I have at least 2 or 3 witnesses here. How many do you have here? Oh, that's right, YOU DON'T HAVE ANY! Psalms 55: 18-19 18He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me. 19God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God. Jesus said: In what place soever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment than for that city. O Gracious Father, we pray for those who have turned aside from Thy ways, whose footsteps have wandered away from the truth of Thy Holy Word. Help them to know that they are forsaken the ways of pleasantness and the paths of peace. May they come back to Thee in full surrender and find delight in Thy truth, finding it to be a lamp for their feet and a light for their path. In Thy name. Amen.

Sorry Dave, I don't need a "Strongs Concordance" and neither do you. The Bible speaks directly to my heart and the Holy Spirit interprets for me. Jesus said "When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side." Your concordance and "new translations" were not written by God and you are making a big, big mistake by not trusting the real Bible and your heart. NOTHING needs to be added to the word of God. Here are the last 4 verses of the Bible...Revelation 22: 18-21 18For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: 19And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city and from the things which are written in this book. 20He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come Lord Jesus. 21 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. Source: Merriam-Webster's Dictionary of Law,

But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace. Holyman if you feel a tugging at your heart, do not ignore it, for it has been written that "If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain." P.S. Here's what a real Bible looks like Dave.

You must not have gotten the Word...class has been dismissed, and it is clear that you have failed. You clearly did not see the circle of truth that the Holy Spirit led us to. It is a call to repentance for us ALL. You are the weakest link. Good bye.

Whatever. Why is it that you are ashamed to declare your denomination? Was it born unto Sara? I and everone else, as you have no allies in this thread which you have attempted to desecrate, have stood on the word of God. It has been EFFORTLESS because the Holy Spirit is trouncing you. You have been STRUGGLING because you are NOT led by the Holy Spirit, because you do not accurately stand on the word of God. Yes, I read from the King James version which is old and translated out of the original tongues. I would not touch your version with a 10 foot pole. Nobody else is having any problem understanding the word of God as I, and others here have quoted. Jesus may or may not be below God. Are you not below Jesus? You are naked before us all. Please repent, as am I. Become justified through Christ and, to your testament, above all, honor God, but with no condemnation of man. Extend only love and expouse only of God's mercy, for the law can no longer save man. I say this with knowledge of Isaiah 6: 18-23 18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it were with a cart rope. 19That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it: and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come that we may know it! 20Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! 21Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! 22Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink: 23Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him. I AM IN REPENTANCE FOR THIS AND I PLACE THIS SIN BEFORE MYSELF AND GOD. I PRAY FOR FORGIVENESS AND WISDOM AND INVOKE THE SCRIPTURE IN MY SIGNATURE IN MY DEFENSE AND BELIEVE THAT I HAVE BEEN JUSTIFIED THROUGH CHRIST. NEVER DISHONOR GOD IN THE NAME OF CHRIST! AMEN.

Oh the point has been made and from this thread on your belly you will go. These are the self righteous. Those "holier than thou" types, if you will, FOR WHOM THE WORLD WAS NOT WORTHY.. These people WILL be forsaken. They are wandering in deserts, and in mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth. Not guided by the Holy Spirit. All other examples of faith in this THREAD are of people who WERE led by the Holy Spirit. Psalm 52 1Why boastest thou thyself in mischief, O mighty man? the goodness of God endureth continually. 2Thy tongue diviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. 3Thou lovest evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah. 4Thou lovest all devouring words, O thou deceitful tongue 5God shall likewise destroy thee for ever, he shall take thee away, and pluck thee out of the dwelling place, and root thee out of the land of the living. Selah. 6The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him: 7Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches and stregthened himself in his wickedness. 8But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever. 9I will praise thee for ever. because thou hast done it: and I will wait on thy name; for it is good before thy saints. Amen. Psalms 55: 18-19 18He hath delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me. 19God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abideth of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
