what camp you guys stayin at? I think we're gonna try to stay at the south. I always say that ,but by the time we get there there is no parking in the south camp so we end up in the north.

are you just ridding this quad for fun,or are you racing it? You really don't need the stroker crank, you can get a ton of power from a 350 with a good port job. Not to mention a good port job by a well known engine builder will give you awsome power at a cheaper price than the stroker crank.

The packing in your silencers was prolly burning out, I wouldn't worry about it to much if I were you.

one thing you have to realize when buildin a banshee, wether it be buildin just the motor or buildin the whole thing, is that you are going to loose your ass come time to sell it. Your typical strong running bike thats got around 9 to 10 grand in it will only be worth about 4500 to 5500 on an average. The cheapest way to go fast, is to buy a bike that is already built. Its kinda takes the fun outta havin a project, but it sure is a lot cheaper in the long run

I will admit 10's do look better, but for drag racing the 8's are the only way to go

I'm runnin 21x12x8's and they seem to hook pretty good.

I don't care HOW high the gas gets, I haven't been to the dunes all summer. The last time we went was oct last year. I'm in.......unless my heap blows up between now and then.

I've never read anything more true in my life. When i bought my banshee I just wanted something to play around on, and hang out with some buds on the weekends. Yep, i guess if it was retured he could just fire up the ol stick welder and add the material back, might take awhile. most most that lighten the flywheel wanna run it the higher RPM range. By the way, I never offered any wisdom ,experience,OR knowledge.

Castrol has made 2 stroke oil since the 70's. I used to run it as a kid, and believe me, I was not gentle by any means on an engine (still not). I never had any oil related problems. Good shit in my book.

Good for you, I envy your wisdom, experience, and knowledge. I think I'll go out and remove as much weight as I can off my trail motor, while I'm at it I' ll throw some CPI outa frame drag pipes on it. Power when you push the throttle...Good concept.

The same concept applys on two strokes as well.

move the needle up, to richen it up. Mine was the same way when I ran FMFs. it was to lean. I ended up going as rich as it would go on the needle.

If you don't have a ported motor you ain't gonna do it.
