  1. Clearing the head is hard for any large pipe. I run CPI inframes and they also rub on the pod filters a little, and on engine deceleration the pipes rub the head a little causeing a vibrating sound. Its hard for these companys to get the performace everyone wants and have perfect fit. I can deal with spacing my pipes out a little if the perfomance is there.
  2. They didn't have timers up yet. He said they were coming soon, along with a new light tree, and score board.
  3. This was the first time there was any alcohol bikes.
  4. From a VP supplier. the guy lives in Cameron but will deliver it to St.Joe Chad Holmes
  5. Stroker, when is your rig gonna be done?
  6. Clarks would know more about the rockets than I would, But I would say around a 320 main.
  7. I run VP MR2 in the 500, it's oxygenated, I got a 30 gall drum of it. I use MR2 in it cause that fuel is about a perfect match for that motor I think its $9.00 or a little more per gall. The VP C12 that I run in the banshee is $6.00 per gall I just bought a 55gall drum of it around spring time. I guess you could say I got a little change wrapped up in fuel, but it sure makes the shop smell good...
  8. You runnin a highly oxygenated fuel also. I'm not, i run VP C12
  9. and kickstarters
  10. yeah, K&N pods
  11. 50 pilot, CEL middle, mains at 150 (need to be at 1152 or 155).
  12. I got 1st in the banshee modified, reded got 2nd. In the open I got 2nd and reded got 3rd. We both got beat by Ryan Muphys 10mm drag frame in the open.
  13. I matched the cases to my old cylinders, and beleive it or not they are pretty damn close to the cub cyl.
  14. I was running 158 mains in PWK 35mm, I pulled the plugs out after several passes on the strip and the plugs looked a little rich so I dropped to a 150, which was all I had at the time, now its a tadd lean.....152 or 155 ought to be about right for me
  15. think I'm gonna get bigger carbs and big bore pipes
  16. 2 stroke 111-210 211-325 326-above 4 stroke 80- below 81-110 111-210 each class pays back 90% 211-325 326-410 411-above They also have an "open" class (anyone who wants to run in it) And a "dash for cash" any size bike, winner take all questions: call 913 874 4055 or 913 426 2853 ask for buzz
  17. A&S is good yes.. but the turn around time is too long for most people.
  18. How much longer?
  19. stroker, you get your rig runnin yet?
  20. I'm runnin stock cubs right now. I would have gotten a clean up port but everyone I talked to was to busy, and it would have taked them a month to a month and a half to get them to me. So I'm just running them straight out of the box. I'll prolly get them ported this winter, but for now they seem to be doing alright.
  21. i've seen engines not only destroy the cases when they come apart, but also destroy the cylinder and crank. Don't know about most of you out there but I'm thinkin its gonna cost more than $1000 to replace the crank, cases, a cylinder (if not both), pistons, and gaskets. I think I'd just pull the crank now and spen the $200 on crand bearings, and while I was at it I'd prolly go ahead and put the TZ bearing on the water pump side.
  22. Don't run race fuel unless you have to, race fuel is acually a slower burning fuel than regular pump gas. Race gas is for high compression engines, keeps them from detonating. Running race fuel in an engine that doesn't need it, can accually make it run worse. Pluse its about $6.00 a gallon
  23. You should try to make it up. Last I heard, there was gonna be some guys from texas comin up to. $5 to get in and $10 to race, 90% payback. Camping is free, and nearest motel is about 15min away (Atchison).
  24. most 8 inch rims are 8inches wide. I think ITP is the only one who offers anything wider, and thats an 8x9
  25. I wish I lived closer, I'd like to see all them wigged out bikes runnin against each other
