  1. you def. need the shifter up a notch with boots. Pointing your toe at the ground when you are riding can be disasterous. You shift by lifting your whole boot off the peg real quick-like. You will get used to it, just takes time.
  2. You have been screwed, my friend. No lube for you.
  3. Sony is the way to go.
  4. Is sand maountain on a reservation? If not, they don't stand a chance.
  5. The 'Zone used to be a great place to live. No crowded lakes, plenty of places to ride. Now the influx of people have me eyeing Montana or Wyoming.
  6. 5 weekends a year. All at Glamis. Lets say I go on 3 good rides a day. (5weekends)(3days in a weekend)=15 riding days (15days)(3rides a day)=45 rides a year. $12,000 banshee / 45 rides= $266.00 a ride. Maybe I should just go to Disneyland.
  7. Cool. I would stay at 8s now that you found the problem.
  8. I have used those templates. Your bike has been ported before. At least the exhaust, from your description. What does it look like when you put the intake template on? Those are very good templates, but you should still measure them to make sure they were cut symmetrically.
  9. Appling heat to the bolt will not help. It will make the bolt expand. If you apply heat to the frame, you will burn the paint. Get a dremmel, put a slot in the broken bolt as deep as you can go without getting into the threads. Get a straight slot or chisel and try to turn the bolt by holding the chisel to one side of your dremmel slot, then hit the end of the chisel with a hammer. All you need to do is break it loose, then use a big screw driver to remove it the rest of the way. Lefty loosey, rightey tighty.
  10. I'm just foolin' around. If you ride a Banshee, you must be okay. But I still blame you for hockey. Also, I'm pissed that you guys got the good half of Niagra. You also stand between the mainland and our precious ANWAR. And correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Canadians invent Yugos ,falafel, and Audivox??
  11. What is your tire size/paddle count. What sprockets are you running. Also, where the hell are you finding a strech of sand long enough to think about 6th??? If it is a hill and you are good in 5th, I would say you are fine. How does it run on dirt?
  12. one foot in the grave..... have a good one
  13. His queen is hard on the eyes.
  14. I do agree that you fellas have some hot chicks up there.
  15. Maybe, maybe not. Canada let our AWOLS in and won't return them. They also don't control their side of the border like they should (but neither do we). I also blame them for hocky and our tree huggers, who all came from Qubec.
  16. Glad to help
  17. 9 is what I run. 10 is alot of bite. you better have alot of ponies and a long swinger for 10.
  18. Stuff like really high compression bikes that run at higher temps than a normal engine like yours. Nitrous is another reason to switch heat ranges. If you run a colder plug( which means that the plug dissapates more heat) you run the risk of creating a fouling situation because the plug insulator cannot stay hot enough to burn off deposits. Remember- plugs do not create any heat by themselves. They DO dissapate heat from your motor at diff. rates. That is what the heat range really means. Don't get any bright ideas about trying to fix jetting issues by changing plug heat ranges. That wont work.
  19. Go and jack somthing from their house and see how fast they sue YOU.
  20. A parent is legally responsible for their children until the kid is 18. Had these parents taken care of busness when these kids were manageable, (like from the day they brought them home from being whelped) this would have never happened. Parents have a responsibility that comes along with creating a life. They are socially charged with bringing that child up with a minimum ammount of respect for the law and other people. If they fail to properly teach their children some basic morals, thay should be fully responsible for whatever hell their kids put another human through. The state will be on your side. You are a taxpayer. They are brokedicks. Sue the everliving shit out of them. Get them out of your neighborhood before they have a chance to retaliate against your family or put someone else through the hell you are dealing with.
  21. Canuck is just a pet name for our peace- loving, wanna-be frenchie, mad-cow spreading, universal six -month-hospital-waiting list friends to the north. Don't worry, all of us Yanks and Cowboys will protect y'all.
  22. Stroking an engine is not a reason to change spark plug heat ranges.
  23. ^^ You like 'em big? A bill and a half plus change is alot to put in the wallet......
  24. Hell yeah, bro!!!!!!!!!! I love the part about jumping ont the back of the quad and punching a thief! Too bad all this will be dropped as soon as they hit 18. Sue the hell outa their parents. They need to pay for their bad kids.
  25. If you are paid for parts, it is chickenshit to make a fella wait 2 months, even if he is a canuck. When you got the pipes returned after 3 weeks, you should have shipped them the second time with someone who could give you a tracking #. That tracking number should have been given to the dude that was expecting parts. Should have given a tracking # in the first place, IMO. Even one month is too long to wait for parts. If you are gonna take the cash, follow through with your end of the bargain. You are lucky those parts were not late to me. This kid has been WAY laidback on this whole deal. You should thank him for being so cool. Sounds like you got lazy. I don't care how much you work, send the damn parts if you were paid for them, or give him back his bread. No excuses. I think you should refund some of his money for putting him through all this.
