  1. If i remeber right. When he trys to make things light they tend to break. and twist and warp. But when he makes them heavy dudy. they are like a anker but can't break them. Atlest that is the word here, From the builders. I know i asked about the. But Some people have had great succes with them. But no first hand experince
  2. I've given up on trying to keep my fatties clean. If yah drop a teaspon of water ont hem the start to rust with in a hour. Pass that they real broad
  3. WHy do you need to rejet???
  4. whats the bore on the cylinder's as it is? just a friendly reminder if yah sleeve one yah want sleeve/bore the other. Becuase they'll be out of balalnce an cause alot of other problems for you.
  5. I finaly got out and was able to ride here after a new clutch shocks and the booman tune. I can't agree more. The power is on when yah touch the throttle. She'll pop up 5 times faster than she ever has. If yah drag or love trails. THIS IS A MUST!!! I would love to say this is the first thing I would add if i had to do it again but Grips would have to come first. Then a lightend flywheel. As for the shiftstar All i can say is dear god I HAVE NETURAL!!!!! and thats not just when im racing either. I HIGHLY recommend having your flywheel and shiftstar fixed So far some of the best money i've ever spent on her.
  6. this is what they are talking about. there pretty cool
  7. Cpi is the no brainner there. It has the best midrange and most usable top end power... iit's not always about the power it's about how long it takes to get there.
  8. From what recall reading about BR8EIX Iridiums. They are not real a better spark or hotter. there spark evenly because of the .7mm tip. a broader plug will spark iradicly. The other thing about the plug is they like to melt under detonate/pre-ingition/to much heat causing the plug to ground it's self out and saving the life motor. they are also alot harder to foul. after jetting the bike right. I wouldn't run any other plug. for the simple fact they have proven them selfs to me. and my builder even recommends them after yah get it jetted right.
  9. front mounted fans are bad!> they block flow of air when riding fast. just to point out
  10. the threads that connect into the knockle are stripped and chewed/soft to hell. shrug it's just something you can see
  11. I just got my shocks to day. I removed the knockle to make install simple and easy. now that the there installed,I went to put the knockle back on and the balljoint there is stripped out. any suggestions ? on to fix the strip or do i got to replace the whole lower arm???
  12. is it one of the cool billet cranks???
  13. JJ&A axle only way to go. i can take take my chain saw to it and return it and get a new one. for free. forever!. there just as light ans the over rayed lonestar axles. be jj&a are lonely located 30mins for me so i can just drop it off and get a new one and there 300+ cheaper then lsrs. check them out http://www.jjandaracing.com/ yah can get them in either 3 bolt or 4 bolt patterns.. there only 650 buckets. can't beat them
  14. my bike is kind of apart right now else i would to
  15. I watched a piped 400ex tossed a new stock 450r. ALl day long the piped 400ex wipped the sh*** out of the 450r. THey are turds. First thing i would do is get the hrc kit. THat cam makes a difference............. makes it so they can atlest keep up. Every builder round here will tell you the exact same thing
  16. 203 for mine.
  17. I ride with a 4. I feel it handles the same as stock. Just a little kick to get the ass to slide. For piped clamp ons and mild port the front end stays down most of the time. I would go with quicksand swing. best looking and for the money can't beat it. Plus with a 4 yah got a little room to grow
  18. On both idle and air screw you should seat them. both idle screws should be exactly the same out from seated. same with air screws.
  19. i second the vote for did x ring chain they almost never strech and look great in gold.
  20. Im sorry. make sure to get the hrc kit for it. atlest then yah might keep up with a stock shee. Every will tell yah the the cam in the kit wakes it up enought so yah can atlest ride it
  21. yes. and on warm up and cool down one side in general is cooler then the other. because of of the tranny. the oil in the tranny lubes/cools the crank on the right side. it may only be 5-10 degreee difference but it will take longer for that side to get warm.
  22. all the dial a jet does is allow you to adjust your main with out entering the bowl. They would probly save you alot of head ace of buying mains and having to change them every time you leave to go ride some where different. are they worth the 100 bones +14 for the vents? and the 40-100 do have them installed? that's something i can't answer
  23. WHy not use the cable to line them up? insted of the internal asjustment? (just a question)
  24. I just put a new clutch in and making sure i got it adjusted right. All i do is line up the marking on the case with the leaver right?
  25. sounds like a good choice to me if your going to be riding alot of trails single carb easy to tune good bottom end. Single pipe same thing good bottom end.
