  1. You're in Kuwait? So basically all your ride is sand? Then cut em. Some people like to have them for protection when riding in mud. Myself, I've never seen a clean person come back from riding mud, fenders or not.
  2. So when you ride in mud you come back perfectly clean due to your front fenders? Last time I rode any mud I was just as dirty as the guy that had front fenders.

    Gecko's Wanted

Blech why geckos? Planning on running a quad off of a cliff or something?
  4. With your mods your gonna have a tough time beating him on a short or loose strip. If you race him on asphault you'll win. If you race him far enough to get into 6th you'll win. Otherwise I wouldn't bet any money.
  5. That Iron cross bumper in the background of lvr's pic always reminds me of a fly swatter for some reason...
  6. Actually you don't even have to get a $180 (or whatever they're charging) conversion kit. Just gotta get some .090 thick tubing and fab up your own....so in material cost it would probably run ya <$30
  7. I'd get the shift star modified while it was down. I'm amazed at how easy it is to shift and find neutral...puts the yfz to shame!
  8. A longrod is more reliable than the shortrod version since it puts less stress on the piston skirt. You can also run a stock stroke longrod. Sorry A&S but you're not 100% correct there. Using blaster pistons or the new wiseco 795 pistons is to accomodate the added length of the rods. Basically the wrist pin is located deeper inside the piston closer to the top. If you run a +4 stroker you either have to run a spacer plate, or have the domes cut 2mm deeper to accept the added stroke. No choice in the matter.
  9. PRM all the way! If you want it polished just do it yourself. Take ya half a day.
  10. I'd also suggest earplugs cuz alot of folks in glamis like to keep their music on ALL f'n night. You guys might be camped a few feet away from a speaker. Also one of those sun shower things are great if your camping. Nice for washing hands, dishes, and even a quick shower if your not too modest. Best $20 I ever spent. Oh and on the flag note. Cheapo flags at my local stealership are $12. The exact same flag in glamis is $7. I always tell my friends to buy their flags there...but maybe they raise the prices on holiday weekends...I dunno
  11. Lee had a few of the older style HQ stickers like the ones on my bike: Justintoxicated and I bought 4 total of his blue ones so I think he said he had 1 blue one and 7 white ones left. He stopped selling them because he was going to change the style and didn't want to oversell the ones he had left.
  12. Hey RocketPig... I've always wondered which company came up with the marketing genius of mixing strippers with atv parts first...you guys, or the strip club next door? Oh and is it fully nude? Just boobs? Do they serve alcohol? I keep trying to think of some work I need done at trinity so I can give my wife the excuse that I was only killing some time in your "waiting room".
  13. Ya man maybe just keep the silencers and stick em on the end of your current silencers...your gonna need that extra weight WAY back there!
  14. Happy b'day man! Get those strippers I sent ya?
  15. Banshdog you'd be better off running a 14/41 or even a 13/41 with those extremes on there. Banshees hook up on spin and don't like to be lugged. I've found that people that don't use a very aggressive or tall paddle can keep stock gearing. Those out there who actually like some bite to their tires need to drop the gearing a little on a mildly modified shee.
  16. That's exactly $100 more than the $68 I paid for my current pwk to be shipped to my door via ebay. I got a good price but still I'd rather not pay for brand new since its mostly for experimentation purposes and I might end up just turning around and selling it.
  17. Nothing. Just wanted to go back to duals after I get my portwork done. Figure I'll try both setups and see which one has the most benefits.
  18. For anybody who's in that area and doesn't have plans this weekend, should be pretty f'n sweet! Here's the link: Kites on Ice annual event link
  19. I'm guessing 5th - 7th grade myself. Ah crap! I just read his profile...turns 17 in March. Uh...sorry man.
  20. Snooze ya lose my friend. Guess all your stammering about gave her the creeps and she went So uh...gonna do the same thing with girl #2? Or are you a little more confident about her since she gave you her email addy and danced with ya?
  21. Looking for one. Probably go the ebay route but checking here too.
  22. Ride height is the same
  23. I'm not getting the LT front, I just asked/posted for the benefit of the guys on the HQ. For my needs it just doesn't make sense (like using a sledge hammer on a thumb tack). I'll be getting some +2's or MAYBE some +3's up front with some TCS, not sure on what brand arms yet. When it comes to the rear...well I might go with SoCal Fab's LT kit. That thing is definately cherry! I think the final decision will be made by my wallet.
  24. Ya there's quite a few variables to consider. Size of the part, color, whether or not they need to do the prep...Best way to find out is to call a few different places and explain what you want done.
