  1. Ah yes...tearing ass. Guess we're back on topic again.
  2. Only other options besides porting that will give more power down low that I can think of are: pipes (2:1, pt mids, etc) single carb porting timing advance more compression
  3. Ah man I haven't even thought about it in a long ass time. I briefly tried scanning the graph but wasn't having any luck. Didn't feel like dicking with it so I just quit. I'm thinking about taking her back in and just doing a few runs now that I've got the new clutch. But at the same time, it feels fast under my ass so do I really need a number to verify that?
  4. Check all the connections first. They can easily corrode enough to break the circuit. Its also the cheapest and easiest fix. I bought a boat once and got a really good deal cuz the outdrive wouldn't go up or down. I just pulled off a wire, cleaned the connector, and its worked perfect ever since.
  5. I agree on the idle. The only other thing it could be is an aftremarket flywheel. Trailtech and ricky stator both make one with stronger magnets so that they won't dim as much at lower rpms.
  6. Turn the black plastic screw with the spring on the left side of the carb. That raises the slide.
  7. That's the 2nd time you said that. Oh wait, last time this thread was gay. You just trying to hit 10,000 posts by the end of the month or something? Nobody is making you read this thread and we all know ur not interested, again.
  8. www.alloyboltz.com Nuff said. You can call em up and just get certain parts I believe. Don't have to get the whole kit although it is worth it.
  9. If I remember correctly you just splice the black and black & white wire together.
  10. I know they make a shift drum that alba sells. Otherwise I dunno anything about em. I've got a mild dune port by Custom Creations. Good guy and a good builder out in the riverside area. Might be worth giving him a holla - 909-388-2887, his name's Kevin.
  11. www.wickedatv.com also has a setup that'll work for you.
  12. congrats...have fun kicking that bastard over!
  13. Did you get your head milled? Cuz it ain't even. Notice the combustion chamber lip - it should be equal depth all the way around. That's why your piston was hittin the top.
  14. Its not terribly huge but aint small either. I'm in Huntington Beach, at the very NW corner of OC.
  15. Ya there's a hole that is located just underneat the carbs that goes straight thru to the bottom. That's prolly what ur seeing. It doesn't open up to the inside of the engine so don't worry.
  16. I still say you've got a reed problem. That might not be the only problem, but filters don't get gas on em when your reeds are working properly.
  17. Sorry man, never heard of em. Got a website?
  18. No idea...why do you need to know?
  19. June-ish is the only month that really sucks around here. We get maybe 5 days outta the whole month that'll have partial sun. Other than that, almost everyday in the May-Oct range is sunny. Temps peak in August and it's still hot well into Oct. From Oct-May its kinda hit or miss, but on average I'd say half the days are sunshine. For example, right now its sunny and 73*F.
  20. Geez I just used some Duplicolor High Temp Engine Enamel (spraycan) on mine. Turned out really good and is still holding up pretty well 2 years later.
  21. Oh I definately feel that religion serves a purpose for society. No doubt about that. I think the more comfortable your life becomes, the less you need to believe in a higher power. But ya, society wouldn't be where it is today if not for religion. And for the most part I mean that in a good way.
  22. Ok condition. Has some slop in the toe piece so that rattles around. You could prolly fix it with some channel locks. Splines are good. Little wear area where it apparently was bumping the footpeg. Rubber on toe piece is also showing some wear. They say this thing shifts better than stock and it sells new for like $40. I'll sell it for $15 shipped or trade for some upper A arm bolts. Oh and I'll see if I have a bolt that'll fit it.
  23. Whoa sweet! I didn't think they allowed quads in there. I'm in OC and its about 1.5-2 hours away. But then Glamis or Dumont dunes is only 4 hours...
