yes just like lectron. except it has a intake pressurize'd float bowl along with some other things i'm sure. if you read ont eh stie it explains how they work. the idears and tech is solid in my mind.. just plain ole lectrons are not anywhere nearly as weather picky as any other carb i have been around. so these being a big leap from an already solid design.. without an alky option at this time i'm still waiting. i have the perfect "project" for a single billet 38/40. i dont know how the bowls changes in pressure would affect a powerjet either.

whitefield is epic. get a bunch of dragracers that aren't afraid to go 80+mph and that is the perfect spot.. -
clamp it in a set of v blocks and check the center bearings. most times if the cranks have been run for a while the inner bearings are loose. just replacing the outers with new i'm not to sure how well that works. i have had some come through that the rods were fine but the main bearigns were loose as heck. i just bought a "used rebuilt" 10 mill and the main bearings on it are toast.

is your transmission modified in any way on the 421 now? a lockup in the trail is going to make the bike shift very very hard when it is reved up. lower rpms and it would work ok.. the 485 and the 535 if set up right are very similar in HP numbers. BUT like said above the 535 makes a lot of tq. either motor can be built to make more tq using porting and the pv's. either motor is going to be a fun ride. the 485 from the 421 you may not notice a big differnence depending on if the 421 is ported and really worked over motor.. head design and porting make a big difference on any cheetah. if your still running a bone stock clutch basket and it is still in one piece. your really easy on the bike. a billet hard anodized matton basket would be mandatory on any of these motors. the 535 if really pushed hard might need the straight cut hinson setup to really make it a long time. i have both a 485 and a 535. i "dunned" the 485 on alky and it was a beast. it was actually very hard to keep down on a +6.

ok there will be a rake at the start line. if you want it "groomed" rake it up ya damn self before the run HA i personally like some "rut" to run out of. suspension? hell my lsr has about 1" total of movement. i bounce that bitch over braking bumps out there all the time. just stand up and take the abuse. i think last time we smoothed it took about 20 minutes to smooth a maybe 500+ long by about 8 wide section out there.

i'm thinking 300+ ft 300 as a minimum. 2 small rake's work wonders on start ruts. i'd like to also take a drag out there to smooth the main area out. no it wont be track racing. but smooth dune sand is a big treat! a while back we smoothed out a big section and we were able to run out pretty damn far. yea the bigger motors definatley started to shine in their HP gains. plus most bikes out there right now are taped out at about 65-73mph. phhhh thats baloney i'll have the teryx there and it actually has a bed area that can haul some stuff out there no problem. surely someone cah haul a truck out there for quick smoothing, and i can either try to get my drag done. or a big ass pallet, tailgate off a trailer, or couple bed springs work great out there. ' gotta keep it simple. there should be enough sxs's around for a finish line "judge". cones would be great, a plaq would be excellent and/or even trophy's i'm thinking a top 5 or top 10 depending on who all participate's. so even if your slower than 1st place your on the list. it wont be a 1st is the only person recognized.. so the ranking will change from day to day i'm sure. if we are able to run a 3 day run's then the list will be differnet each day. keep the suggestions coming! just rember simple and easy is the name of the game.. i was thinking the same thing bobby. couple of those guys look really familiar. hell racing is racing. dosent matter if it be cars, bikes, quads, RC trucks etc etc. and yea that show kinda gave me the idear. back a few years ago used to do at least one time a year get together. and i rember throwin 10 bucks in a pot and splitting to top 3 at the end. i'm going to REALLY push to keep it as simple as possible. most likely watch the weather and figure a time according to the heat, coolness of it. i'm thinking 2pm to 5pm rangish to start and go from there. i really think a hey we will run at ( insert time) at ( insert place) will solve a lot of issues. you dont make it welp to damn bad. there will be ONE class. run what cha bring. if your running a banshee and get smoked by a 4 stroke welp thats toooo damn bad. no excuses, no bullshit.

yeap here is my thinking. i'm planning on being there tues or wensday. find me and come talk to me i'll make a list. i dont care what you have the setup, the bike, the motor, i wont give a crap. i'll make a list of names. if wanted and there is enough thursday, friday, and sat we can get together and run 1v1 straight up arm drop. you win you get a spot on the list.. at the end of saturday you can earn top list by beating everyone etc.. if your bike breaks to damn bad, if the weather is shit wont run. after we get some people together i'm thinking i will smooth a spot and we can run on a decent groomed area. i wont guarantee that it will be in the most popular spot to drag in but we can figure it out. i will set up a specific time that we can start and if at all possible a few "volunteer's " would be great to have. anyone with some real suggestions on track size would be fine. i'm thinking the std 300-400ft run if thats to far thats to bad. if you dont like this idear dont participate. i wont comment or respond to retarded stupid ass remarks in the thread. i'll post the list and pics of the bikes after the hq ride! i'm thinking top 10 fastest bikes every year some kind of organized race is attempted but there are so many whinny ass'es, OR no~one really tries to get together on it, and just flat out failure to launch happenings i'm thinking i will try to do something. now with my i dont care or give a crap attitude i will look around all the bitchin. if you want to participate i'm all for it. hell the bottom 4 bikes might be stock 350's for all we know? we USED to get together and have fun dune drags out there every year for fun. not sure if anyone rembers any smooth drag days but i was there for a few. hell i flagged one of the last one's
