I am planning on camping at Ogilby atleast the 1st night Pres. Day. How far is it to the Glamis store from Ogilby? Is it possible to go along the eastern boundry straight north to the store or does that big closure area hinder the travel?

follow the wires down from the handlebar there is a connector under the tank,if you added pipes maybe somehow it came disconnected.. The clymers manual has the wiring diagrams and procedures for testing!.

Are they not wanting the carbon in the tank? Can't the pipe's holes be plugged?

Ok I changed my wires. Dale @ Dale's Jetsports told me to use the ohm meter one on each wire is the way to check. They were the only thing not checkingout.. It's kinda a bitch the change them from the coil. The clip that holds them broke on mine. Just pull the old wires out and clean the holes up. And check the coil just to make sure it's good. I used 7mm plug wires and silicon the crap out of the wires at the coil. Just check the wires with a ohm meter to make sure they got good connection... B

Geez.... Cleaned the carbs put them back on and still not getting in the upper R's... I went back over everything and it was the plug wires, I changed them and everything is fine!! what a nightmare..

I had to get class B excempt for my school bus it's got air brakes... Except keep me from doing the hazmat and it's personnol use only here in Texas.

None of this makes sense, when I get home today I am pulling the carbs off just to make sure.... Then I'll start from there, I keep coming down to it being possibilly fuel... banghead

Dude I just changed out stators and having similar problem. My ''shee starts and runs it just doesn't wind up without spitting poppong and all that good stuff. So I did the same ohm test as you got the reading for promary but not for the leads... I think there is something else more to it. I have spark . I wouldn't go changing the plug wires just yet. Was your 'shee left out where it might have gotten wet from the snow? If so bring her in by the fire and dry all connections out.

ok I changed the plugs no affect... I checked the restance for the stator it checked out fine.... I checked the resetance on the coil primary lead it was fine... When I checked the plug leads I can't get a ohm reading on either side, I even removed the caps and still no movement on my ohm meter, Did my coil go bad? The 'shee fires and idles fine. If the coil was bad would it run?
