nickban8 Here is your Answer. A Tech a Toomey racing answer this question for me. What series pipe was better on a ported motor. Answer T5. Reason i ask, His reply was the T6 was designed for a Stock motor and make more power than a T5 does on a Stock motor, That stock motor was his 2003 and he sais it was about 56 hp. SO it depends, Modifed or Not. So to answer your question Modifed motor T5 Stock T6.

My 34 mikuni's are little big, Top end is great But If i am in the wrong gear it bogs like hell. If your banshee is highly modifed 34 are ok But if it's only pipe and ported I get 28mm maybe 30mm but not bigger,Unless you only plan on dragging.Than 34 would be fine. Oh my 34 are Old style round slides. I think there off a early 80 snowmobile.

Yes you need the oil. what type do you have. I run K&N's with dark pink in color. It's not that much. just enough to darken the cotton. Foam Squeeze all you can out with your Hands. Oh i never use the spray type. Hard to control the amount. and the rest is in the air.

Jim I am confused. I was thinking the reason the spacer plate on a 370 long rod stroker was to raise the port window to work with the higher piston. If this is true why would you cut the bottom of the cyclinders down, that would lower them even more?

The amount of coats of each would be of help too. I have my own ideas but would like other opinion to consider. Skill level is Good but I have not work a lot with automotive type paint. 2004LEBanshee So have you ran a full tank thought it yet? If not Just go ride it. I bet it setup rich on jetting and you need to warm it up good with A Nice long easy to med fast speeds. I bet after that it should smoke as much, But if you idle it for long time it can build up oil, With 32 to 1 mix

Minkia38 Here is your answer After you run a set of old ones that's been blasted a few times Run your shee, than swap in a Brand new set and see if there any faster. If not than Do what you have been doing. I work at a service station in the early 70's and we Had a small spark plug sand blaster Made by Champion mounted on the wall. So i belive it's OK. But if I was racing when it counted, I run fresh plugs.

Why do ASR a-arm suck?

what is the longest you ran it for? What is your Premix ratio? 2 Strokes can smoke lot, Oil can biuld up in the crank area and make them smoke more than normal, I would't worry if it runs Good.
