  2. Yes you did Riding style, Riding terrian, Machine setup style, Can be done with lot of combonations. But the One Combo that works best. Is A 4 stoke. Well Horse style would be my choice. Loca Up Here the Trail are Some of the Rockys Mothers you have every Seen, The small rocks are the size of your front tire . Your frame,engine cases won't live long Flyin through some of them. But Terrian is different all over the USA, The trials on Mountians around me than can reach over 10,000+ feet from 4500 foot start. You live in Missouri? I been to Joplin & Nesho and Got lost in an Old Wooded Army base It was Cool Trees ,mud holes and Trails all over to ride. You could haul ass on lot of them. So to me A trail is about Tire placement speed contral etc. It's just Extreme shit.Think 200 to 1 gear reduction. Trail. Now a Fire road or open Desert dirt road Is a totally differnt, even open national forrest road if you call them Trails Than a Banshee would be one combo more suited for that Terrian. This make me think Ivan Stewart. Baja etc. Benbb , Blue Duce playground. Oh I know I am Slow That is why i love the dunes. One of the trerrian Types I can still go fast on.I May even Biuld a 100 horse Cub For it Some day. Jim Smart you do trade in's ? SO ride hard and enjoy. It's all Fun.

And i posted this line. 4 stroke Atv make damm good Trail machines V twin torque and 4 wheel drive hard to beat. Also to me a trial is not much faster than 10 mph max. Whats a trial mean to you Sredish?
  4. Sreddish The Upp intakes don't clear the clutch .they rubs bearly. 3/8 spacer would clear I think. My son as that setup on his duner. it'as all so ported.
  5. What could it be? Sounds Like piston seizure Take the head off and look. If it looks bad take the cylinders off and try to rotate the crank if not you have bad mains. But could be one of many problems. It's really up to you to inspect it.

Well Hey If you had a $1500 trail motor you could Brag to your friends about your 60 horsepower you will never use Muhehehehe But if you had 100 horse duner I am sure you will use all of it most of the Time. My personal Though is Don't waste the desgin & your money biulding a Slow poke Just Buy a 4 stroke for the Best trail machine. you will be alot happier, faster & richer.

  9. Porting will make him Alot better rider. If it's a drag race Not as much skill is needed Than say a MX race. So You will Need Cheetah Cubs without porting that will kick his Ass Big Time. Muhehehehe

  12. Give PassionRE a call for set of shearers 450 chrome I think. Get the Boon Tune also. Milled head, Lighten fly wheel. Shift Star mod, K&N filter without lid. Adv timing 4 degree also. You can also bore the carbs add 15 tooth scroket and your top speed will be well over 75 all under 800 dollars Don't waste your money on a boost bootle. save little more for porting and you be haul'in Ass.
  13. I have stock a-arms and the dusts keep rotting on me 2 sets in too season. So today i did a search on ebay and found these.Fullflight And was wondering about them , anybody have a heads up on them? I heard ASR are not a good choice. Money tight so cost is major concern. I don't jump so super strong not a must. I just Dune & desert dirt road. I also have a new front brakeline Grafer in stock lenght i was planning to use with it fit a +2 1up a-arm?
  14. DUNEDEMON I am running 5 inch over swing arm. I am old man so my thinking is stock valuing is ok for my riding style but the spring is to soft for the added length. My preload is all but maxed out also. Do I need a different spring rate and with a progressive wind? What would the cost be ballpark? Some insight would be great.
  15. Timing is Just one part of many mods you need for a great running Shee. 1/4 horse here 2 horse there and after dozen mods and the combo is correct you biuld a real screamer. So DON'T underestimate The smaller details.If you do You will lose .Muhehehehehe
  16. Offset keys Suck Period. Best way is the Plate. Cheapest way to more timming is the Stock Mod . Here is Mine. That is a 4.5mm cut into the counter clokwise side Appox 4 degree advancement. can't beat the price FREE
  17. The boon tune is a great way to hi po the shee. have you had the head mill also if not you better do that too
  18. I can lugg mine in 3rd all over the backyard that is just off idle. Shearer pipes too. Try that with a stock motor.

  21. Jim that's great point. The pic doesn't show the true bend, the right fuel line, as a pretty gentle bend to it not forced at all. Hi grade flexible urethane fuel line about 4 inch long also. But I have the right setup to solve any fuel starving issues. Duel outlet PINGEL valve just waiting to drain this tank before I install it:)
  22. Is there Fusion Clear coat? I spill alittle on my tank cover before I never lost any paint. but it was only a little. Try it what do you have to loose? Aan if you do don't wipe it off, let it evaporate first before you try to clean it . if it soften paint let it be for a few hours than clean it.
