I would say you had a lean conditon in the one cylinder. If there is a LITTLE play in the rods side to side it's ok,but if there is play in the rods up and down then it's time to replace.If your talking about play in the crank itself then junk it.

The first two races were rained out. My next race is the 14,but I'm going to practice Saterday if the rain holds off. You deserve the credit Banshee,you do great work.

If the crank is in spec and the bearings are good use it.If it overheated why did it over heat?? If one cylinder was fine and the other was blown,it leads me to believe you had a lean condition it that cylinder.It could of been caused by a loose plug,loose carb boots,wrong jetting or many other things.

You could also check out a hardware store and put together your own stainless bolt kit.

I started adding things up,and I came up with $300.00 to $400.00 in mine.Could have been more but, I got a great deal on discontinued spray paint at a flea market. -
That "octangonal shaped thing" is the bearing locknut,and it has to be backed out (just like a Banshee).You can buy the tool for it,or I bought and welded two nuts together that fit inside it and backed it out with a wrench.

Looks like a good deal,it has hydro brakes which is a plus.My 6 year old son has a 2003 Honda XR 50,thier pretty fun.
