Where is everybody getting their brake lines when they extend the swing arm? I was thinking about just extending the stock line but is there anything better out there?

I have both the Clymers and the downloaded Yamaha manual. I even printed out the downloaded one but the only one that gets used is the Clymer. Well worth the $20.

Does anybody have a lead on where to get some CPI's cheap? I'm looking for some inframes. New or used will work.

Did you notice any problems having to do with overheating? They should hold more heat in but I don't think it would be that bad.

Who on here has painted their pipes? There was a thread a long time ago about somebody painting theirs blue. Just wondering how it held up. Anybody else paint their pipes? I'm just wondering because I can pic up some painted T-5's cheap but they need a new coat of paint.

Did you get this figured out yet? I'd say you are running lean. I have the K&N's with Fatty's and I'm running 30 on the pilots and 350 for the mains. I'm up in Mac if you want to try some jets. I think I have 300-340's laying around.

Just curious. A friend of mine has some cylinders that were drag ported by those guys. Just wondering if they are any good before I put them on the bike.

Drain all of the gas. Put new plugs in. Take the carbs off and clean them. It probably wouldn't hurt to put a small amount of oil down the plug holes to lube the pistons. Kick it over a few times with the switch off to make sure everything is moving freely. Flip the switch and see what happens. There are plenty of people here who can help get that thing running.

I don't wear one on the quad(I should though) but I used to on my dirtbike. They can take a lot of beating and save a lot of ribs. I smacked a tree once on my YZ250 and damn near ripped the bars off. Went chest first into the tree and just scratched the protector a little.
